Major progress on the vaultsuit project. After the use of a handsaw and an angle grinder, I had most of the components to assemble the chamber for my Laser Musket cosplay prop. After of some sanding, painting, and light electrical work, I hooked up the LED I got in a mere 9 V battery, and it LIVES!

Unfortunately, the one component I was unable to complete for the build were the end caps to piece the whole assembly together, as the steel pieces I grabbed were too difficult to machine into the proper shape with the tools I own, and aluminium of the proper size and diameter was not available.

I will have to take a break from this while I take a major trip, but I shall resume work with a vengeance upon my return.
