Tribe Profile - Wen'Dimali
So far I've posted all the average sized Alecani and Pylura tribes, now on to the taller folk! For the Wen'Dimali here, I wanted an ethereal feel to them, almost elven. If you have ever visited the redwoods of North America, you will understand the quite power that place commands. A beautiful and otherworldly tribe befits such a place! When all the tribe profiles have been posted, I’ll show a size chart I have of them all lined up, so you can get a better idea of their sizes in related to one another.
Pylura and Alecani live in an integrated society, and have been for so long that they've evolved similar looks for their adaptations to each territory. Alecani are the winged canines you see here, more information can be found on their species profile. ( http://tea-feathers.tumblr.com/post.....-alecani-are-a ) The Pylura are the cat people you see here. Though not winged, they are highly intelligent scientific minded animals, who value curiosity and knowledge (species profile pending). The word "Dimali" means "people", a word separate from their species identity to denote they're part of a specific group. There are ten primary tribes that control the continent this story is set, each one with unique cultural and physiological traits!

Ah ha, I expected these guys would be your favorite! :D
There are also similarly sized wingless dragons that exist on this continent, but which have no dealings with the Alecani and Pylura if they can help it. And the Outer Cat Clans, who are composed of semi-anthro big cats (toweringly huge compared to the diminutive Pylura). I also, at the behest of my bunny loving boyfriend, have added a group of anthro rabbits who mine the spirit essence rich ore beneath their vast warren, and harness it's power to make the world's best weapons and armor!

These are, besides the first tribe where Nym is from, my favourite tribe so far! They are beautiful and remind me of a type of character in the game Journey, for the PS3, with their colour scheme and elegant appearance. I love the glimpses into the lore of the world, such as the fear of fire the species typically has. I'd be interested in seeing the jewellery this tribe creates, too!
Do all the specifically coloured tribes have one eye colour all across, or do they vary? (so do these ones have blue eyes only?)

Aaah, I adore Journey! Thank you so much for mentioning it in comparison to this tribe, it makes me so happy. :D So glad you're liking it so far, I can't wait to make some more in depth cultural snapshots of all the tribes.
I'd say blue is a common eye color for this tribe, but it's not a rule. Kind of like how brown is a super common eye color for humans, but we get a lot of variance too!
