So I went to a thing called Repticon, it's a reptile show where you can buy reptiles and reptile supplies for pets!
I have always wanted a Corn snake, sadly I couldn't get one, but I ended up falling in love with two other snake types while there and now I'm doing research one which one should be my first snake pet!
I already know that Corn snakes are beginner reptile pets, but Western Hognose snakes are also pretty good beginners and I learned quite a bit about Blood Boas that make them between Beginner and mild experience.
I Know I'll get wither a Corn or Hognose first, but they both so cute and I don't know which one to choose While doing research. Hognose seems to be the better one, because they grow to be smaller then a Corn but while they might super rarely ever they can bite if I like scare it...then again ANY snake would really lol
Either way I already know the color of snake I want no matter it corn or hognose, and that is an Albino!
While they are white with red eyes because of their patterns, they have fades of red on their body as well and it's just OMFG!!!!!!
SNIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I held Hognoses at Repticon and they were really docile, and I read on an info page that it wasn't sure if they were venom or they had toxic saliva, but when they bite it wasn't harmful enough to need meds it would swell and be itch in the area they bit. But thanks for the heads up either way ^u^
That's exactly what I did before I got my baby boy, Asriel. He's a ball python though, and the best decision I ever made. Though I've also considered a hognose before and did some research on those guys, plus one of my friends owned one and they are absolute sass incarnates.
Thank you, your character's really neat-o too! ;u;

Oh neat, I saw some ball pythons at the show. Big snakes kind of intimidate me though that's why I want something smaller like a Corn or western hognose; I have no problem holding big snakes it just I know if they really wanted to they could hurt by mistake. I think the Hognose ones at the show were so nice might have been cause they were only a few weeks to a month old and had been handled a lot and were pretty use to it.
Either way they were ALL so beautiful and cute, I was having such a hard time not buying a baby anyways. But I knew I needed to be ready for one first.
;u; and thank you! <3
