More Badass is the story where a makropole (millions or billions of people living there) refused to send soldier for the war and the imperial investigators Guarded by the Death Korps investigated it, the Investigators get hung in the City and the Deathkorps sorrounded the it and began a artillery Barrage everyone who tryed to fled from the City got shot. They bombed city for 7years, the city capitulated after two years, but they continued bombard it after 3 years after the last life sign was seen. The Makropole was nothing more than a pile of ruble and no one got alive out of it.

So far i can remeber the story out of my imperial guard codex.
