Not what you'd normally expect to see in my gallery, eh? This is a project I completed over the weekend, and was pleased enough I felt I had to share it with folks. In fact, I think it turned out so well that I'll probably be doing more like this in the future with other series! If people're a fan of this sort of things, I'll post more of em when completed.

So, what exactly IS it? Well at a glance you can probably tell that it's a star wars title crawl, right? Episode 5's crawl to be precise. But it looks a bit funny, doesn't it? Look a bit closer to see the real magic. . .

That's right, it's one big picture made up of text. It's a word mosaic, made up of the entire script of the episode 5 movie, edited into one giant uninterrupted paragraph. It starts from the very first scene all the way to "THE END", with every line of dialogue and action prompt in the movie.

I know the text is probably pretty difficult to make out, but the file size was so huge I had to tank the quality to be able to upload it at all. I reduced the file to 96DPI to make it manageable. The image as I originally made it was at 300DPI, and designed to be printed at poster size. I created it for an 18x24 poster, and ended up having it printed at a full movie poster 24x36 inch size! The text came out perfectly legible as well, and now it's currently framed and hung in my living room. If people're interested, I can take some pictures of the physical copy to show how it looks.
