Well, I do take offense to that, actually. :) In honest, it pisses me off, royally. Being told that makes one feel degraded and unvalidated. Of course, I'm rather used to it, if not plain sick of it by now, as most people do not understand asexuality. However, would one go up to a gay dude and say "Oh, you're not gay. I believe otherwise. You'll want a wife and kids someday." No, one wouldn't do that, and if they did, they'd be a douche. So, why give asexuals the same treatment? I feel just as strong about my sexuality as anyone else feels about theirs. :)

Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but hey, I say keep it to yourself if it may cause offense. :D

BTW... is the group *about* sexuality or something or just pretty furry girls?

I find the guys (it's always males...) who "believe otherwise" are just wanting to date said girl or showing interest. That's fine and very nice and I feel flattered, but it's not going to happen.

Hey, no worries. It's not about me being kind. Most people don't even understand what asexuality really is, especially since the feeling of asexuality can be caused by otherwise a medical condition (lack of hormones, thyroid problems, etc) or childhood trauma. Fortunately for me, neither is the case. XD I have a sex drive... just lack of sexual attraction.

Once people are educated about it, they seem to understand more. :) There is a ton of info at http://www.asexuality.org/home/ It also shows there are more asexuals in the world than one would imagine and it's a great community for me to talk to other asexuals. Honestly, I get that "you're so fucking full of shit. Asexuality is just another word for bullshit," all the damned time, so it's good to go to AVEN and vent sometimes. XD Or I can read about another asexual going through the same thing. :)

So, I'm not angry. ^__^ I was just miffed. Plus, hey, I'm an Aries. I stay angry about something for approximately... ten minutes? LOL No worries hun. :)

lol Well, that's a nice compliment! :D Probably the pose. He pointed me to some refs of Golden's art and poses of wolves that he wanted for his commission, so I tried to mix match poses so it wouldn't be the same. :)

It did come out very dark on my monitor, but I think it is mace black's whose matters. Gotta love how the monitor settings can affect things. Had a shittier monitor in the past and drew something in it I thought was really good only to find that same thing look like crap on my current one. I love the background though. It almost looks like a rendered 3 dimensional one and I am not sure how.

I think the Wolf may be just a TAD too dark (maybe it's my monitor?) Was the snow easy to paint or just plain fun? And those sticks in the background must have taken a loong time to do also! heh

Wolf is fine on my monitor, so otherwise my monitor is too light, or everyone else's is too dark. XD
