Sometimes life is rough, and even the most positive of dogs may crack under the pressure and the stress. Keeping that happy smile up can prove too difficult at times. That is when there is a glimpse of the true feelings behind the facade, the dog no longer happy and playful but sad and scared.
It can feel as though the world is too big, the demands too high, the battles too great. Self-doubt affecting every decision, making goals seem unreachable and dreams so distant that they feel like silly, unrealistic wishes. The feeling of being a failure slowly breaking down confidence.
