I read somewhere the hug scenes in 3D cartoons cost millions of dollars, because interaction is so hard to calculate. That is too bad, I like affection between cartoon characters, maybe because of it's rarity.
A friend also says "sex is actually easier interaction to draw than cuddles" and that is an unfortunate thing, in my opinion, but it does explain the theme distribution of this here site o.o
Most criticism I get from family about my art is "it reminds me of". Which really makes me think all that I do is subconsciously tearing bits off things I've seen.
