oddly i haven't died yet. if anything is likely to do for me, it is simply age, and the normal wearing out of various key biological components.
of course my physical existence is not completely independent of other other sapient life.
but my emotional existence, for all practical purposes, is.
much as i love affection, i am also happiest when nearly all of my time is alone, and almost none of it ever has to be otherwise.
i can easily remember a time, several times in my life, when i was much younger, that this may have been somewhat less the case.
but life moves on, as does each of us in our own ways.
