The watercolor tool in Shi Painter helps a lot with making things flow. http://i44.tinypic.com/of0ajd.png You can see how the image looked before any details. It's mainly a bunch of blobbed colors.
I have to say, this is gorgeous, like most of your works. I've had a good time viewing all of the animations you post up as well. This and the others always help me learn more about are, color balance and that not all pretty fog swirlies are as evil to do as they can sometimes look. :D
