Playing around with color palettes for the redesign of my character Linda. She belongs to an alien species similar to prehistoric raptors with some bits of birds thrown in (because, well, raptors turned into birds sooo). They are a collaborated race by myself and stupidshepherd. We've been working on them the past year, both visually and culturally, and finally are getting them down pat enough to post up more concept work. It's gonna be crazy!
The species doesn't have a name yet. But soon...
Anyway, Linda! She's albino, so the pink on her is due to her skin and not an actual color. Her eyes are blue and I stylize her pupils as red but they aren't actually red. Her tail feather can expand into a display (think peacock), like all members of her race; being a female, they shouldn't be very big but hers are actually rather impressive. Overall this design is close to final, but I'll be tweaking things here and there as I go along. Definitely going to mess with the neck fuzz and make it more apart of her chest instead of like a collar, as Picard's version will probably have that (because OF COURSE he'll have a version too!)
