I've been working on a piece to be used as a print of my old hellhound character, Derringer for the past few days that has a bit of a darker, more grungey feel than most of my work (it's not done yet).
Funnily enough I was feeling abnormally/inexplicably angry and pent up today after work and whipped this out in about an hour.. and I like it way more than the other piece that I have spent many hours on. It's funny and annoying how pieces sometimes work like that >___> I guess this is a testament to how feeling a certain way while drawing can make a piece come out more raw and emotive.

Indeed so true with a lot of things in life like that. Nothing like a good vent piece of sorts. Or seeing something good coming from, or resulting in something that started out so negative. Here's to better work days, and more great artwork from you. But...... if after seeing this hellhound, and I start having bad dreams tonight... you'er in big trouble!
