[ZOOTOPIA SPOILER] NickFury01
I wanted to make a more creative title for this page but I would have risked possibly spoiling the movie for those who didn't see.
So what would have happened if Nick was shot with the real thing?
This idea came to mind after seeing a certain scene in the movie, and decided to practice making comics in MangaStudio 5 again.
Took me three days' worth of free time, approximately 12 hours total from sketch to final coloring. I was also experimenting with a new style of shading.

Meh so simple this fox is indeed just an actor it's not like he knows not what real suffering is the horror of... Itachi Mangekyou Sharingan... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMtJq4MBs44
Meh it would have been more interesting if he would have died after being shot during the ending of the movie.... The world has enough crazies as it is.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhYcYdvZ3IE.
Great art. Its an interesting alternate scene. Reminds me of Resident Evil 2002 music.

The first thing that came to mind after I read this: "In this world...it's KILL or BE killed." Those who have played Undertale know there's a very specific part I'm talking about.
I, too, had ideas for how else this scene might go. But I will give Nick credit, he put on a good show, and even though I had a feeling things weren't what they seemed, he still actually got me for a second when he bit her.

I really liked this scene. Honestly, I was hoping that Bellwether had actually used the real serum, but then Judy would have to use the power of friendship to stop Nick from eating her. That would've been way too cheesy so I guess I'm glad they didn't do that. Still, there was so much potential there!
I also kinda liked that the entire scene was somewhat transformation-y (is that a word?) because I like transformations. This comment is getting way too long and I'm gonna stop now.

There's one thing that bothers me about this scene in the movie.
[SPOILER ALERT] When Nick gets his fangs around Judy's neck, she shrieks; I don't know, but when you have something dangerous around your neck, shouldn't you have some difficulty trying to scream?
In horror movies, you see a character screaming when he/she's about to die, if he/she's tortured and/or when he/she realizes the horror of the situation.
Wouldn't the scene have been more believable if Judy had shrieked the moment Nick lunged at her, blood had started pouring out and then she had (seemingly) died?
They used blueberries to fake Night Howler-extract pellets, I don't think there would be any problems using cranberries or whatever other substance to fake blood.
What do you think? You're free to give me some explanations if I missed something.
Despite my critique, I find this drawing well-made!

Well captured. This scene in the movie still gets to me, even knowing where it leads.
The expression on Nick's face makes me think, "WTF, Disney? Isn't this a family film?"
Then I remember Zootopia is rated PG, but even so, Nick's predatory leer is like something out of a horror movie.
I can see him chopping down a door and shouting, "Heeeeere's Nicky!" :)
