Researching possible venues for a local furry convention, after a visit to Holiday Inn in Portsmouth city centre, I was sent a copy of their conference centre floor plan, alongside a list of all rooms and their sizes, to help optimise and customise the spaces we hire from them. Would only be using about half this space, at least for the first couple of years, so plenty of room to grow, though none of the rooms is properly set up for a stage or nightclub, both of which seem to be requirements for any decent furry event now.
Still got a couple of other places to check out, any other suggestions of venues would be appreciated.
