This is the art for my most recent cover with Realmwalker Publishing Group called "Talindor's Guest" by Charles McGarry. This incredibly charming, and thoroughly well written book is a collection of short stories. When a traveler wielding great power finds himself trapped in the lair of a very finicky dragon, only the most unusual stories will suffice. Such is the dilemma of Talindor's Guest.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre. Charles's short stories are absolutely enthralling!
I will update on my twitter as soon as the book is available for pre-purchase/purchase!
Welp, I'm off to TFF!

I could stare at this all day. As everyone has mentioned, the level of detailing is so high it's astounding. I love the way the jaws fit together, the overall shape of the skull and the small portions of hide we can see. Is it me or is this creature showing some crocodilian features?
What an astonishing image. I could stare at this for so long... all the details, all the textures, the composition, the perspective... I have greatly enjoyed all your previous work, but can't help but feel that you've reached new artistic heights with this incredible image. If this piece doesn't sell the book, nothing will.
And the book itself seems to be a really neat concept too. Kind of Smaug meets the Thousand and One Nights (Scheherazade); a cultured dragon, with his golden hoarde replaced with cultural gems. The themes here seem very powerful, with some great storytelling potential for McGarry and his hapless guest as well. I can't wait to buy this volume!

Now THAT'S the type of dragon I can relate to! Terribly organized, though. Love the detail of the curls of smoke from the nostrils ( ). Really, you must have done a lot of referencing and research, because this dragon really LOOKS like a reptile, the scales on the snout and around the eyes, the teeth, very realistic looking. FUNNESS!
The tragedy here is that this 1000 2000? year old dragon lost the ability to even pick up a book and read. like trying to read with trench shovels for fingers. It is like the twilight zones "Time Enough at Last" of dragons. lived most of his life unhappy with gold and when he finly finds a trove of books, he cant even read one.
this traveler is doing the dragon a kindess god knows the extent of his "great power" anyway.
