Full sized images of (Right)Hylcinth, and (Left)Helgin, the creators of the StarDragons.
Hylcinth - White dragon of the Light, ruler of the day, goddess of honor, giver of magic and mother of the terrestrial plane. She takes on the form of a StarEater when walking the mortal world. (Due to StarEaters being the first StarDragon to be created)
Helgrinle'das (Helgin) - Black dragon of the night, god of justice and the hunt, watchman and protector of the universe. He takes the form of a StarRobber when walking the mortal world. (Due to being the one to create them)
While Hylcinth is of the Light, and Helgin the Night, it does not make one 'good', and the other 'bad'. They do, however, handle things with a different mindset. Hylcinth has a more gentle nature to her, preferring to forgive her children and help guide them on a better path towards redemption... meanwhile, Helgin is more strict, and prefers the eye for an eye approach. You kill one of my children? Well, let me raise that child of mine and have them decide what to do from there. If it ends in the murdered party seeking vengeance, well, their decision is justified. Eye for an eye.
However this does not mean the StarDragons themselves cannot choose to believe one good, or one evil. Perhaps they can believe Hylcinth bad for 'allowing' terrible things to happen, seeing her gentle nature as more allowing the guilty party to do as they wish, uncaring. Or Helgin, with his appearance so frightening, and bringing the StarRobbers about, as being the darker one of the two, playing his hand in creating the StarDragons simply to toy with them as he pleases.
Then there are those who can choose to believe... the Gods do not even exist. After all, has anyone seen them? Beyond scriptures, books, and word of mouth?
Chances are, StarShooters are the ones who see either or both as 'evil', or believe they do not exist (Not to say the others cannot as well), as unlike the rest of the gods children, the StarShooters were not blessed with the same kindness. Often times the StarShooters may believe they were the most unloved and unwanted, and due to this, turn on the rest of the StarDragons to separate themselves from the other StarDragons, and ruin what their 'wonderful parents' seem to favor more.
