Thanks!
I need new stuff for my animation portfolio since I haven't updated it with personal work in a while. So I'm just trying to update it really. :)
Ah cool. Are you interested in 2D or 3D animation? Or some other specialism?
There's also something called 'animation mentor' if you haven't heard of it already. I don't know what it's like though but I think it's meant to be pretty good.
And then there's the '11 second club' too, which is just a free monthly challenge thing - but if you win then you get a critique from an industry professional. Although I think the community often gives critiques too. I've still got to give it a shot actually but it looks like fun.

ahh yeah... though I should probably find a better site at some point. >< http://reebyportfolio.weebly.com/
I love 2D animation but there's not massive amounts of jobs out there right now, at least compared to 3D. If you wanna go down that route I'd suggest learning how to use toon boom harmony and maybe flash since those seem to be the most popular 2D animation programs right now. I wish I'd known that toon boom was so popular while at university... I could've started learning it then. TVpaint is another good one - although I've seen more jobs asking for toon boom and flash. That said if you ever want to branch into games then learning esotertic spine might be an idea. It's pretty new right now but I think its popularity might be on the rise.
Some advice actually... sorry if it seems kinda obvious. But whenever you do get into a course (good luck btw :3) keep looking at jobs - you'll get an idea of the kinds of things employers are asking for. Maybe even apply for internships whenever they come up too. But one thing they didn't stress at all on my animation course was apply for jobs, even while studying.
