30 min painting: Dr. Dimitri Shulkofskii
Fuckin, Russkie. Dmitri here is a character from the upcoming series "The Author Society". Demi here is a character I've had for years and is very dear to my heart. He also gets all the fan girls (him and Fang man) It's funny because Fang was designed to me sexy, Dmitri wasn't. And yet lots of girls dig the kind hearted Russian doctor. (He's a dormouse by the way)
I debated on the background for a while before deciding just to go with the Russian flag. (Not very iconic to Americans these days but I wasn't sure if I wanted to use the hammer and sickle)

He's one of the main characters in the Author Society. Sadly he's not in issue zero but he is introduced in issue one and will be developed more as it goes along. The first three issues after issue zero (the series prolong) for Author society are actually already scripted and the rest of the series has been pre-planned. Dmitri really is one of my favorite characters though even if he isn't the initial focus. I have big plans for this character.
