Well, as a student of an art academy I can say that schools are not really necessary - everytning is learnable by yourself without any help.
Unfortunately, I cannot suggest you any books because I did not read anything about concept art - I am learning it by myself.
All you need to understand is the basics - perspective, lines, color rules, etc.
Everything connected with imagination is way too individual for everyone.
But there are some general laws in all that stuff - so I am planning to write/stream some lectures about that if I will have some free time.

Much appreciated! I'm a self-learning artist myself, and I'm doing quite well with anatomy, perspectives and such, even if I'm still at the first tries with colors (and concept art seems to heavily be based on coloring..!)
I guess I should study and practice more with colors and shades... It would be really interesting to watch some stream of yours in future :) Learning new approachs is never a bad thing!
