Decided to finally do this. Maia is one of Kia's slime girl apprentices/friends. Separated from her brother since childhood, Maia had been searching for him. Having herself transformed into a slime as a test subject, she sought out for money before she continue searching for him. After the company that gave her her new form, she became a mercenary in order to find any traces of him Along the way, she meets Kia who befriends her and trains her to effectively use her powers as a slime, the two eventually forming a sisterly bond similar to Glossina.

Maia cannot operate without the use of a core which is installed inside of her mass. If removed, she loses her shape and the ability to move, reduced to an inert puddle only capable of sight and speech. She is later given a new core which gave her the mutation side effect allowing her to operate without a core, but gives her a near-generic shape without a face which Kia deems creepy. In addition, Maia specializes in hit-and-run tactics due to her speedy and acrobatic nature and her element is Lightning, an element that Kia previously possessed
