Effectively a small glowing crystal fashioned into a necklace.

Voidium grows underground, yes grows. in its unrefined state where its been fashioned into jewelry or into sources of light Voidium will grow and reproduce as though it were a living thing. If exposed to sunlight for very long the growth effect ceases and the crystal 'dies' but retains its glowing effect.

Voidium goes hand in hand with a race I and my mate Mythril have made, that race being the Voidwolves. A mostly subterranean species. Voidium is often given to pups at a young age as thier own light source and in some rare cases can be found in various colors. Each pup keeps their crystal through life and when they pass they are buried with their crystal. In some cases old burial chambers have been dug up where the remains of dead voidwolves have been found completely crystalized or encased in crystal preserving them. Perhaps entailing the crystal they carry in through life eventually preserves their bodies in death. Voidwolf philosophies hold that the crystal in life protects and watches over its owner in death. To attempt to mine or farm these death bed crystals is considered one of the grandest forms of heresy to the Voidwolf race.

This particular crystal will belong to a character of mine for a group I have her with. Just have to finish writing her up and get her introduced.
