I have seen a few posts on tumblr about Zootopia O.C's created by non-furries saying that they are just a part of the Zootopia fandom. And while I get the fact that Non-furries can enjoy a furry-friendly property, what I don't get is the fact that there is already a fandom based around it... Hear me out:

Most fandoms are based around a series of some kind, a series of comic books, a cartoon with a series of episodes, a movie with a bunch of sequels. Right now, Zootopia is really just one movie and maybe the "art of" book, (if you don't count the Child-friendly stuff like the coloring books and toys).

I get that people are more buying into the "Universe" The movie showed us, but even that was regulated to the city and a tiny bit of countryside. I'm personally waiting for something more to expand and elaborate upon that universe... Especially since the movie left a few things about the world a little on the vague side.
