As Mercury is named for the messenger of the Gods, the anthro that represents mercury is a fleet-footed peregrine falcon gryphon who carries a messenger bag!
The “Heavenly Anthros” series is going to be an ongoing series of adoptables based on celestial objects in space. It is meant to combine my two biggest passions, mythological creatures and space. The series will be starting out as a weekly thing where I will be drawing an anthro for the main objects in our own solar system (The Sol System). After this has been completed, then I will make anthros for other objects found outside of our own system (Black holes, nebulae, etc), but these will be random and will be made “whenever the hell I feel like it” because I’m planning on jumping immediately into another weekly series after I’m done with the sol system.
A few things to note about the series…
- All adoptables in this series will be mythological creatures… there will be plenty of dragons and gryphons, but I also plan on adding in some more obscure and rare creatures in there as well. :)
- These will have a slightly higher starting bid and autobuy than my other adoptables. This is because I am so passionate about the subject matter that these will all be epic designs made in full illustration format.

That means you comment in replies to place bids.
- Opening bid starts at $40. Minimum bid increase is $1.
- Bids will be in reply to the comment that I write below. If you want to bid, do so as a response to the previous bidder. No notes, please.
- This auction is cross posted on both Furaffinity and DeviantArt. I will update with proxy bids on one site when someone bids on the other.
- Winning bidder gets the high res, unwatermarked image of the character.
- Whoever buys her has the right to rename the character.
- Winning bidder also gets rights to the character. You can use the character for whatever personal purpose you'd like as long as you give credit whenever it's used, don't claim that the design was done by you and don't resell the design. If you're planning on using the character for commercial use (i.e. selling over 100 copies of whatever using her for or what not), contact me first as other fees may apply.
- These adoptables are sold “as is”. I will not spend time to the premade artwork to make changes that you want. However, you are more than welcome to make the changes yourself or commission myself or another artist to make them for you.

This is important because by purchasing one of my adoptables, you are agreeing to follow these rules!
- No sniping! If there are snipers then I will extend the bidding time by five minutes then continue to extend it until five minutes have passed with no bids!
- Payment is required 24 hours after the end of the auction. Paypal only. If you do not pay, then the character will be re-offered to the next highest bidder. Sorry, but it is unfair to myself and to anyone else who is bidding so if I catch anyone doing this then you'll be blacklisted from all my future auctions. Please make sure you have money in your account before bidding. If you have to back out because it turns out that you don't have enough after you've placed your bid, I really can't make an exception to blacklisting you, even if you’re honest.
- Buyout price for the auction is $120. You can choose the buyout price even if there are already bids!
- Bidding ENDS Saturday, March 19th at 9PM EST

Well, to be honest, she asked for Mars the second that I admitted that I was even doing the space series and the person in question is at "whatever she wants, she gets" status with me, so nobody else really had a chance.
There are some more unusual critters planned for the Sol system... including peryton and foo beast. Not t mention that I will be slowly expanding the series afterwards so anything is possible. So stay tuned.

Lol no worries. It's not a big deal. It's more the nativity I'm interested in. Though as an astronomy buff the planet thing makes them appealing. I'll just have to get a manticore in the future. Curious about the ones beyond the solar system like black and white holes, quasars, binary stars. I'm really looking forward to his set and debating who to grab. Pluto is tempting already. And no idea what a peryton is but for beasts are awesome.
OMG YES PLEASE! But no that's really awesome. That and a Foo beast, and an enfield though that's more a mythological heraldry animal. But yeah, peryton are officially too cool. I need to see more little known mythological creatures. Guess that is another creature to include on the list of awesome myths and cryptids.
