Hey guys, another week and another review to come with it. Time for another
stick this week that went well from a club worker's recommendation.
AVO Syncro:
Wrapper: Connecticut Ecuador
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Ometepe, Nicaragua
Pre-Light/Construction:
A box press to a box press is quite the understatement to this little guy.
This one however was the box press that stood the test of durability. The edges were sharp and clean like a Good one should be. A bit of a rough wrapper but should alot of character. Both visible in the veins and seems. The band gave it a little more of executive look to it. Like I was in an exclusive club. Now I was looking forward to this.
The Burn Part 1:
Surprisingly this started started out sweet like a cup of coffee. Nice and pleasant like sitting down at a diner in the morning before rush hour. The essence of pepper soon came into play b/c it was normal for a cigar to have a pepper note. Cedar came into play as the 3rd contender. A sweet and spicy competition was beginning.
The Burn Part 2:
The sweet coffee notes were becoming more dominant in it's flavor leaving the cedar and spice notes in the the back at a calm pace. For a bit during the 2nd part I noticed the body building up a bit. t got a little more intense the further the draw was until the final part of the 2nd 3rd.
The Burn Final:
The coffee notes became a little more darker, like a better shot of espresso. No change from the pepper and cedar notes though. However the body was continuing to grow in strength. It was to a point were I took a little break from the stick for a few. IT was getting that intense. With the final few draws, I sipped my Hard Cidar to ease my pallet. It was a good day. :3
Verdict:
This is the kind of start that shows a promising smoke. First t starts out pleasant but soon it turns intense. It's like your are introduced to your new boss for the first time until along the way you see how tougher you become in a demanding job from the teachings and experience your boss has shown. A definite stick to try. ^^
