okay... twas an idea that sort of wormed its way into my head not long after i saw all the shipping for these two. WARNING: for anyone who hasnt watched the movie SPOILER ALERT so dont read the rest until you have watched the movie. PLEASE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
SPOILERS!: now i am all for the shipping but... BUT! in the movie it was never said that these two were actually romantic for each other. All we heard from nick was "You know you love me" and Judy's reply was "do i know that? yes! yes i do" but that alone doesnt mean they really are in a romantic relationship. maybe they really are just partners. thats all...
NOW in this piece this is what i would imagine is (mainly Judy's) reaction to the all the shipping if she ever saw it. and that theyre not together as a couple in this. just friends. and Nick is just enjoying her reaction... as she starts to talk nonsense from the overwhelming amount of ship thats gushing out of the internet at this point.
now I support shipping and fanon for these two and will probably even do some pieces of that myself. but i know for a fact that what these two have between them is only a buddy cop type thing. nothing else unless something truly canonical is said to change all that. Right now im riding a wave of caffeine and need to get off it soon. if nothing made sense in this blame me and only me eh...

There is actual serious talk of a sequel to the film, plus talk of a TV series. I rather hope the film, and yes. Hope it wouldn't suck. I suspect they will include characters cut out at the last second, like Honey Badger, a Survivalist/conspracy nut thats a friend of Nick.
Plus there were Russian Polar Bears that were crime bosses, but used as Mr Big's enforcers. Koslov was using a restaurant as a front.

This is an ingenious twist, and Judy's reaction to it all is superb. That face is definitely her. Great work there.
The part that rings home for me is where you have her reacting to the idea of her & Nick having children. "Is that even possible?" In the world of Zootopia, most likely not, but I hope somewhere I find someone who has drawn it.

Well, how their relationship developed in the movie was quite strongly hinting towards developing feelings between them. More than just feelings of friendship. Also the whole thing with the cut scene between Judy, Nick and Judys parents where it's also strongly hinted that they are indeed together. Now, cut content can not be considered one hundred percent canon but still the implications are there that they do have feelings for each other just that the writers went for a more subtle approach, just hinting at them and not outright stating that Nick and Judy had feelings for one another. Anyway, I hope thst in a Zootopia 2 their (romantic) relationship gets explored and developed further because I really loved ehat I saw in Zootopia, the change and development of their characters and personalities.
