I knew the mischievous mephite is one of Circe's Funhouse most popular characters, right up there with Saurina, but I was quiet pleasantly surprised at the enthusiastic reaction when I reposted "Floompf!!!" a few pictures back.
I decided to indulge in a little fan service and come up with a new picture of Mister Airwick in action for the sly fellow's many fans. Here he is putting the whammy on some random, (un)fortunate fellow who's so dazed and confused by Airwick's metamorphic scent he doesn't know whether he's coming or going - or even how many skunks he's seeing. (Hint: just one...although very soon there'll be two!)

Good question. I think characters with a definite personality will always be more appealing than something impersonal like a ride. That's why M&M candy and AMC movie theaters (Those little round red guys) both turn their product into characters. Maybe I'll come up with more for Dr. Roo to do...
You do have an interesting point.
Although I could see someone that's maybe a shy type or a techie type that's more comfortable with machines then people being more into it.
Thinking of a techie does remind me of that one tale of one having an encounter with the roo-go-round. That was a fun story with a fun outcome .
