This old 1950s trainer aircraft was on the side of the road in Pocomoke, out front of American Legion Post 93, to which it is apparently on loan from the National Museum of the US Air Force. I wasn't able to dig up much more information on this particular aircraft, though the writing on the wing...pod...thing...indicates it was attached to an air defense sector responsible for Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. What it's doing down here in Maryland is beyond me.
The T-33 was developed as a two-seat trainer version of the Lockheed P-80 Shooting Star.
