"The nightlife of Goldenrod City doesn’t consist only of crime and everything wrong and bad; At least on the surface. As a pokemon trainer and pokemon you can in a city as large and lively as Goldenrod draw on a broad variety of entertainment facilities. There are cafes, bars, clubs and much more. Some are modest, some are exclusive, and others should be avoided by decent citizens; not just because of lewd entertainment they provide!
One of the hottest dance clubs of all Johto is the Club Hyperball in the heart of the city. It is one of the establishments for pokemon trainers and their pokemon, where they first played electronic music. Even my father has partied in the early 80s with his trainer here, Mama said. The fame of the Club Hyperball goes far beyond the borders of the region and in the heydays of Goldenrod City tourists travelled with the express train to Celadon City just for one night from the Kanto region to party together with trainers and pokemon from Johto here. The golden age of Goldenrod City is over, the express train run down to a rusty eyesore, but the splendour of the Club Hyperball outlasts even this Dark Age.
Nowadays works sometimes a shiny umbreon as DJ here. I can see him on the stage doing his work. Hm… Are his blue shining rings pulsating with the beat of the music? Must have been my imagination! Whatever! I think I’ve never bandied words with him. Actually I think I haven’t seen him saying a single word ever. There is this pretty little Miss; she is a Vaporeon-Glaceon-Hybrid, I think, seemingly his girlfriend or groupie. I haven’t seen him talking to her too anytime. I think he’s probably just the silent type. Well, his music speaks for itself."

I am especially happy of how the colourful light of a discotheque turned out reflected on everyone and everything, although black fur always gives me a hard time on dark images. So little contrast! What do you think?
