I feel you. I'm awful at strategy RPGs myself and "Awakening" often enough made me feel like the worst strategist in the world. Finishing that game was a chore even though I enjoy story and characters. It's why I didn't get the new versions. Will stick with Let's Plays instead. XD
Yes, you can thanks to that. I got a lot of money and EXP in that map. Later on I also played another map in which you get really a lot of EXP from each foe because the most of the guys actively just try to flee so as long as you look out that there is no marker for that they would counterattack in a terrible or crit. way then you could attack them with several friends.
Oh, you mean the new Wii U game? I think that has no Fire Emblem gameplay in it, just Shin Megami tensei. I recommend you to watch this review here. It reminds me a little of what "Digimon Cybersleuth" is supposed to be but with less catch the monster to train mechanics and more like free and befriend special characters as partners. So in a way it's closer to the "Persona" games in a way. =3
