Fursona refsheet and copyright standard [for legal reasons]
None of you get this, fairuse can't work for individuals, its more towards the rights of corporations. So I adopted the creative commons method. Its more flexible, and favors both the creator and borrower.
This method needs to be encouraged at a end user level, because i see too many users adopt fair use and it never ends well 90% of the time. That's because the creators get the final say. However, this standard that i am using is fair to both sides and allows people to use my art within reason as long a its not for profitable gain. It is very specific and not at all vague like "fair use".
I bring this up because of a lot of people are leaving youtube, but you think everyone wants to go to several subscription sites just to watch one youtuber they like? its fractioning the creative industry. Bedfellows on Patreon, Nostalgic Critic on Vessel, Screen Junkies now have a pay site. If you like all of these (which I do), then it really sucks that you can no longer, or are limited to seeing content that was once free.
My suggestion is fix the root of the problem and patch up this fractured industry. In otherwords, Youtube NEEDS to be fixed in order for the market of free indie entertainment to survive. No one WANTS to pay for something that was once free. The economy is shit, and everyone knows it! But if the youtubers leave and start to become just as corporate then thats a problem.

Oh Fuze...I get it. It's the same in 'Murica. Honestly, a lot of my shows I used to watch aren't continued because they "Require payment to watch." A few examples would be Top Gear UK, SpongeBob SquarePants, Family Guy...the list goes on and on. And these shows cost ZERO on television. I can get movies, but shows that aired on public television aren't even free? Bedfellows was something I adored, and now it's become a "Become a Patreon and I may consider doing it again!" And yes, it kinda is expensive to make shows, but for them to be once free them asking viewers to pay if they would like it to be continued...it just doesn't make sense. I agree with you 100%.
