Here is the second part of my handmade greeting card artwork from 2001 - made for Eric Fox (who was in his 'tiger phase' at the time)...
The other day, when I saw "Dathy's Cake" by Thecaptainfoxx - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1932741/ - I was immediately reminded of the inside art of the birthday card I'd drawn and colored for Eric. Of course, I wasn't expecting the cake for Dathy to be so humongous!...
A good rule of thumb for 'fat furry' artists is "never have your character eat something larger than themselves; otherwise, you'll just have a belly and no other recognizable features (as they've all been enveloped by that massive midsection)". But don't go by me...
BTW, Eric's RL birthday was exactly one month ago today. So, if any of you procrastinators want to pay homage to him on his natal anniversary (plus 31 days), it's never too late to draw him (either as a fox, or as a tiger, or as whatever critter he is) today!
