So, I don't actually own any Amiibo hardware or a Wii U or anything associated with it, but when I spotted the Zero Suit Samus, I was just like "yes please!" :D
Now, this version is loosely based around the SSB Samus Aran, the one with the 15 foot tall platform heels they decided to put on her *facepalm* Don't get me wrong, I'm all for fantasy outfits and impractical armor and the sexy girls that wear them, but for some reason, Samus in heels just does not work. I mean, where the hell was she hiding those when she was in her Varia suit?
Anywho, so I opted for a slightly different version, one with much shorter heels and a decently textured blaster freebie I picked up from Renderosity, only because you and I both know that measly little stun blaster she carries is a joke. I built the shoe greebles from a greeble set I got from DAZ, so that make it neat to get the shoes to look something like what they do on the figure :D
I'm currently still looking for the Varia suit Amiibo Samus, but so far no luck and I'm thinking it was either never released or I somehow missed it.

Even though her heels were supposed to be rocket boots, it does look a tad goofy now that you mention it. XD I personally never had a problem with her Smash 4 design, though. ^^

While I agree about the high heels for Samus, I do, however, support the concept of giving her rocket-boots for combat.
Also, I have both this amiibo and the regular Samus amiibo.
I wish they'd add regular Power Suit Samus and Dark Samus as separate playable characters.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to find. I got mine used just last year, but I was able to pick up the Zero Suit amiibo when it first rolled out. I've also got the Smash version of Princess Peach and the Mario Party version of Bowser. Not much beyond that though. I kind of mostly just want all of the ladies... and Megaman because he's adorable and awesome XD
