Can you dip or tray develop wet plates?

No, development happens fast and you want to use as little as possible. For positives you want to develop and wash in under 20 seconds. Double that for negatives.

I guess with wet plates you dont have to wait for the developer to soak into the dry emulsion

The oops gives the photo a time worn appearance. It might not be perfect but it looks accurate.

I've been there, and camped out there during a battle back during the 125th anniv. I have a local fort and a field headquarters out my way. I need to shoot them this way.

3rd & 4th battles of the war after Phillipi races. Laurel Mountain & Rich Mountain. In June I think. Out my way. And I think my local one does something "At the fort" in town in July, not sure. All out my way. I'll keep you posted
