Since the freezing rain has stopped, I went around the house and took some more happy snaps when I got home from work. All I can say is "Good Lord." It'll be a miracle if some of these trees can be saved, and I suspect we're looking at a repeat (judging by the frozen buds) of last year, where a lot of tree-borne crops like acorns and apples are either going to be delayed or simply won't happen...

Still, my heat, light and Net are working, so I'm okay... :)
