As a point of interest, this is the first Fraggle Rock drawing I've posted in which all five of the regular gang appear with Kiki and Darl ... even if most of them are in the background.
This might be a good time to point out that the illustrations I've done often cover a subject I've also treated in one of the stories I've written (or will write in future). However, they are never exact parallels. For instance, if this picture occurs shortly after Darl has entered Fraggle Rock and is being introduced by Kiki to her friend, Mokey, it is too early for Darl to be wearing his customary hockey shirt. At this point he ought to have nothing to wear at all. Secondly, Red is making a somewhat snarky comment about Darl that makes no sense this early in the story. He's only been there for around five minutes ... how would anyone but Kiki know that Darl doesn't sing? But what makes a good picture isn't necessarily what makes sense in a long prose narrative, and I let this discrepancies go.

Alas, no... although the main segments of the show -- the Fraggles -- were shot in Toronto where I live. I just watched it on television, however, having no idea that it had been in production, and no connections that could have led me in that direction.
Story of my life, really ... no connections, no leads. The best break I ever got was to work on the Beatrix comics with Steve Gallacci ... but anthropomorphic comics were a genre doomed to fail, and fail they did. Now, the few there are amount to little more than a vanity project for the publishers and creators. No fame or fortune there.
But I'm not bitter... "I'm getting better."
