Here's another surprise gift picture from Felpur, who happened upon the idea while drying himself of with a Halloween-themed towel.
Rodent has had the fortune of being wrapped up in spider webbing. Of course, it wasn't until finishing up Rodent that Felpur realized he couldn't draw spiders. So, he put himself in the picture instead. Of course, I'm sure Rodent doesn't mind being found by a snake while in this condition. :)
This did however, lead to a discussion on the idea of a snake that spits out webbing, or perhaps a sticky slime, in order to slow/catch prey, similar to the way some snakes spit venom. Now, how cool would that be if snakes were able to spit out gooey, sticky slime? I know I'd be hunting out such snakes, just to have them do that to me. ;)
My thanks to Felpur for this picture, coming right when I've been fantasizing about spiders and webbing. :D

Actually that's quite a good idea. That way you are brought in a position and form that is easily devourable for any snake, without any struggling and wrapping. While it is nice to feel the food wheeze for air, I'm sure that sometimes having it wiggle all the way down is enjoyable as well :D
I only have contact with him through emails right now. He doesn't have a website anymore, though he does sometimes post to the Big Gulp Message Board, which he had just done yesterday, 3/25.
*squeaks and giggles* Being wrapped up in spider's web has always had an attraction to me. Of course, until this picture, I never really thought about a snake coming along to find the neatly packaged bundle of rat, but then, he's not really in a position to complain about that. ;)
