After hearing about a basketball coach being fired for having his team win a shut-out game 100-0, I decided to finally spill my guys about how fed up I am with this generation of sensitive parenting that in my opinion is more of a hinderance to children than helping them

We kind of agree as well. It's like those kids are being punished for doing something well. Now, I could understand it if the team was being a "sore winner" and all, but they weren't. And the sad thing is, the adults aren't helping. For example: CEO's of companies are now laying off thousands of employees, and talking how they can save money. Why don't they take a pay cut? But that's off topic.
I guess a point I failed to make was this: There IS such a thing as being over sensitive. Some adults are pushing kids that way. Now a days, though, the kids can be more ruthless and mean that adults.

Agreed which is why i think it is imperative that we strengthen children rather than keep them in that bubble. I was bullied a lot in school and I eventually just got tired of it and fought back. The bullying slowed down considerably. I was never raised with this mansy pamsy sensitivity bullshyt. I am a sensitive person don't get me wrong, but never was I so sheltered as kids are today.
I totally agree. Like anyone else obviously I recognize that people don't want to see their kids hurt or upset, but if we don't acknowledge that someone has failed at something, how will they know what they are support to work on? If everyone is told that everything they are doing is perfect, no-one will try to better themselves. They aren't just helping out their kids, they are slowing down the progress of humanity.
