First big and detailed piece that I designed and tattooed fully as an apprentice. A friend requested a rose of which the stem formed the letters in the word "SHINIGAMI" (Japanese death god). I ended up designing a new piece in the spirit of it, featuring the word in it's original kanji form. I'm pretty happy with how it went.
This photo was taken while it was still healing a bit, so it's kinda shiny. Sorry about that.
