EDIT: Coming back from the present day (2023 at this point). This is the most original base of what Macsen started as. The original idea was a cougar-fox hybrid, but really the only "fox" part of it was the darker oranges and reds in the fur color. Over time, I stopped referring to him as a fox, and eventually muted the colors as well to the later reference by Critter Valley. As well as adding the more pronounced fangs. But that is explained in the later ref sheet.

In addition to other changes, like naming. The original plan was the cougar side to come from America, and the fox side being the British (Welsh, more exactly) side. I eschewed with any sort of species mix down the line, and eventually went with a Welsh surname.
