Tom the Patriotic Tiger, drum major and trumpeting extraordinaire that is associated with the U.S. Tiger Corps Band, and whose backstory you can read here, is the closest friend of Leo the Patriotic Lion (and indeed has been hailed as Leo the Patriotic Lion's tiger counterpart). Tom is the absolute least talkative of the G-52s, given his backgrounds, and prefers to let his music do the talking. As a result, he has had the least amount of troubles of any G-52. He has, however, had one notable feat to his credit, and that is this: although in this picture he has a trumpet, he also plays the drums, and he once played a rope snare drum under a banner for three hours straight. The banner read, "I'D RATHER BE CREMATED THAN BE A COAT!" It attracted the attention of Mayor Leo Clarkson, and a ban on fur coats was proposed in the wake of things. (The ban happened later on.)

When not playing his trumpet, leading the bands, or writing music, Tom is the gunner of Leo's Patriotmobile. He has also had the privilege of driving the Patriotmobile in Leo's absence (particularly if Leo was taken hostage).
