Rift dashed at them again and lunged, and instantly teleported behind Analie when she ran at him to counter. Torrent however had kept her power focused on him and blocked his knife with her blade. She went to swipe with her claws, but Rift slid his blade and drove a cut across her palm. Analie kicked him back, and Rift teleported away again and ran at them from behind. Torrent tried to block and got the back of her hand cut a bit, but she still held on and slashed her blade across his arm. He attempted to punch her back, but Analie and grabbed it and then pounded his arm. To her surprise, he only dropped the knife, and he tried to break free of her grip rather than teleport away.
Torrent stabbed him in the abdomen, through his armor, and he cried out in pain. "That's it!" His eyes started to glow as he kicked Torrent back. "This time.." he shouted as he broke from Analie's grasp "You die!" And from her eyes exploded a pair of blue,intense, light, beam, the shot Analie off her feet with her shoulder burnt. Analie landed back on her feet, but then Rift shot her again with those eyes until she was forced to the ground.
Torrent looked in disbelief over this powerful person, and the moment he looked her way she ducked in cover.
"I'll deal with you next, Cat!" Rift shouted furious and blasted Analie against the back wall with his beam...
