Rift got closer we his laser eyes pinned Analie to the wall; Torrent couldn't take it and pounced on him at the chance. She drove her blade into the back of his shoulder and help on as Rift thrashed about madly. her other hand got too close to his mouth and he bit her wrist, and as she tried to get her and away he threw her at the wall. She looked up to see Him gazed right at her with cross-hair eyes glowing; it was interrupted and misfired away from him when Analie shunted him.
She grabbed his head in an attempt to snap his neck, but he shunted her back.
"I've had enough of both of you!" Rift shouted, but when his eyes glowed they sparked and busted with smoke "You Prick!" he cried in pain and teleported out of the alley "You ruined my eyes!" He covered his face, but the smoke and blood still got our. "Kill them, Koth! Kill them both!"
From around the right corner came a large mule with a sledge hammer, their fight with Rift may have been done, but the battle wasn't over. As Rift vanished, Analie pulled her scarf over her muzzle as she and torrent readied for what this new challenger could do.
