The placement shouldn't touch the boob-area too much hopefully. It's supposed to be positioned so the bat's head rests on my clavicle and the wings follow the collar-bone. Somewhat like that, if that makes logics lol

you will have to tell me more about the reasons behind the particular imagery!! (if you have any - I know its not uncommon for people to simply enjoy the aesthetic of a tattoo without it having to symbolize some big huge story - but I'm curious!!)

Well, there's not necessarily a story but there's a reason I had it designed this way.

Bats are one of my favorite animals. Not only are they cute, they're super helpful (because they eat stupid bugs!)

I wanted something really detailed with a bit of elegance to it. I gave Runeowl Artistic freedom to do whatever she wanted with the bat. she sent me a sketch and I suggested adding the bows to add more color and cuteness to the bat. I love the color combination of blue and yellow and I knew I wanted the bat to have lace in the wings to give it this really delicate feel. We knew we had to back the bat with some sort of color, which is why she added that big blue circle. Otherwise the bat wouldn't stand out, being that it's white.

I just love every part of the design! All the details work so well together. My favorite elements have to be the lace, crown, and ribbons though. ;) its like a lolita bat
