AHHHHHHH!!!! This is so awesome!
But wait, who's TC you say? ME! Yes... after 16 years of being in the fandom, I finally have a fursona. Mostly. Late last year, the amazing VampireKitty, had an idea during one of our many conversations. She said she was gonna draw me "as a dog" and I laughed and said "At least have some dragon in there" since I identify as a dragon. The next day, she surprised me with an AMAZING sketch concept of a dog-dragon. I loved it... I mean, instantly and completely fell in love with it after over 15 years of racking my brain over what a fursona should be for me in the fandom. Now... VK had to head back to school, so I told her not to worry about fleshing out TC right now. Eventually, we'll get a proper reference done up for him as we still need to figure out part of the main body. But his footpaws... THAT she figured out, and they were as brilliant as they are sexy.
TC is a C3 plantigrade type footpaw, but has the super-unique quality of having ventral-scaling on his heel all the way up the mid-sole where it gives way to a nice, plush pink pad with furry toes. :3 Which brings us to THIS picture. This amazing piece of art work is by TideKeeper and is an example of the Paw-Busts he's offering! By using VK's original concept sketches, one of my own, and some corrections and help from me, BAM - TC feets. :3 And good gods what an amazing, detailed job too. <3

*nodsnods* Yeah, part of what make me fall in love with the fursona design when VK proposed it - the head and face are similar in how they incorporate both reptile and mammal elements in a unique and alluring way. :) TideKeeper was amazing - based on the sketches I provided, he, got it about 90% right with the first rough, so very little needed to be tweaked to end up with these. :) Super talented artist - would probably make you some very nice Donny paws. ;)
*gives a little whine* That's hard to say! Usually feral with something like this, I suppose, although I don't tend to think the overall appearance of my paws varies that much between 'em. Though I guess the paw commission I got from Modem a lil while back (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/17339822/) look a bit more anthro in the shape of the legs...
Definitely unique, and gives people the chance to enjoy both soft furred pads and leathery scaled sole. And I have to say, those furred toes would prove to be VERY effective smother tools.
I'd say the looong years you needed to come up with a sona really paid off. Very nice and interesting character, and I'm looking forward to see from head to toesss.

Oh yes... a good point - they would be rather useful for that. :3 Greer will have to help teach him the best techniques. :3 The fur also helps to hold scent nicely, while being both reptilian and mammalian, the feet have scents that vary from region to region - something Greer might very much enjoy exploring.

Well I certainly wouldn't mind letting folks see them - they are pretty unique! You have to credit VampireKitty for coming up with this amazing look. :3
Ohhhhh wow, dude! Those are some damn fine and sexy paws there. The palette is awesome, the shape is rad, and the overall look is so friggin unique. Both artists look like they did an astounding job fleshing this out!
............And okay since this is me... I'm going to admit how absolutely curious I am to how "sensitive" those soles and pads are~ e.e

I know!! Oh gods, when VK first showed me this design (and trust me, the face is equally original and neat looking) I was just jaw-dropped. SO cool and original, and very fitting for my personal tastes too. TideKeeper needed very little feedback to nail the designs in the early WIPs based on VK's sketches and my own attempt at the paw and some sole fixes. Both of them are super-talented artists, that's for sure. :)
Hmm... you know... I never thought of that. Hopefully TC's not a mirror copy of me there; I'm not ticklish, thankfully, but when it comes to my soles, they are super sensitive and anyone doing anything tickle-like to them is like nails on a chalkboard to me - like haaaaate it. Just a very unpleasant feeling, I think. So... would TC be like that? I hope not. XD I think in terms of sensitivity, I could see the pads being much more sensitive than the scaled portion of the feet.
