oh man I fail at quadruped anatomy. He's supposed to be a rottweiler. I'll get better as I practice more... I hope.
so far I've noticed the following flaws-
*front legs are too thick, general shape too stocky, even for a molosser
*right hind paw seems to be at a slight angle from horizontal
* Collar fail is intentional; it's handmade. don't laugh, his owner tried very hard :(
*there's something weird going on with his hock there
*underline tucks up too high at the posterior end
*the head's supposed to be large but I think it's a bit too large
If you think of anything more, please add to the failpile! I'm still going to colour this, though.

After all that negativity, there is a bright side: I'm quite happy with how I inked this. That's probably the only redeeming feature, and therefore the only reason I don't hate this drawing. A friend gave me this awesome pen for Christmas that is responsible for 95% of the improvement between this and the last time I inked something.
