Took a slight break from studying fundamentals of perspective, perception, and proportion and decided to do a study on gesture, since I plan acquiring skill in drawing humanoid (or anthro) forms once I reach that skill level.
The tutorial I used was with the humble stick figure. Though skeptical, as I went through the exercise, I was amazed at just how the basic structure for gestures, position, and movement work. I is impressive just how much can be expressed in such a minimalist way.
I'll throw this in scraps later with the other learning stuff, but this is another one that I wanted to post because it stood out from others just based on the volume I learned from this particular exercise.
Edit: Per a request, here is the link with that tutorial, it's well worth checking out, as it goes into much more depth than what I put here: http://www.elfwood.com/tutorial/108c5366-e843-ada3-4085-85cf2e6cb03b/figure-drawing-basic-pose-and-construction
