The Runaway Kittens
NOTES: This story is a script-style. Most stories are written like this and I find it very convenient for me. This takes place after Vanilla ran away from home and he has his powers to morph into a giant dragon. His brothers and sister are adopted by the humans after they grew old enough. This is their story.
SIDE-NOTES: This is an old story. All the descriptions of their dragon forms had changed. However, the story itself is canon. So please don't be confused about the descriptions of the kittens dragon form descriptions. Hope you enjoy.
We start this tale in a crystalized cave near the shorelines of the sea. The seagulls are cawing, the waves are splashing the beach, and it’s a sunny day outside. We zoom-in towards the cave and we see one simple-minded kitten with grey hair. He sits on his haunches watching his surroundings.
Vanilla: *Mutters* I’m so bored... There’s not much here, but at least it’s home.
The wind is blowing across the scene and his fur is blowing in the direction of the wind including his spiky hair.
Vanilla: I wonder what my family is up to... I haven’t seen them for so long. Perhaps... I’ll never see them again. Maybe it was a mistake leaving the human world. And yet, I’m happy here. I’ve got new friends to play with everyday, I went through countless hardships, and I’m building my life here. It makes me wonder what it’s like to have been adopted by a human. Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint. What are you up to now?
We zoom-out of the kitten with a overhead shot and we cut to somewhere a different place. We go into a sky-shot of a city with tall buildings, many vehicles are driving the road like ants from this view, and there’s many many humans that live here. Than we cut-to a low angle shot with many people walking across the streets, the sidewalks, and some chattering with each other.
Then we cut-to a house that has two floors and a basement in it. It’s painted white and the yarn is being mowed.
Lawnmower: *Motor winding*
We go into a low-angle shot of the grass is being mowed by the lawnmower. A typical male teen with shades on. Then we zoom-out towards the window inside the house. A pink-like kitten is looking out the window.
Strawberry: (*Sighs* He’s mowing the lawn again. That’s just typical and boooooring... I just wanted to go outside.)
Voice: Strawberry! It’s lunch time!
Strawberry: *Turns around* (Oh goody! I wonder what it is!) *Jumps down the window*
We follow her in a low-angle shot across the floor.
Strawberry: (Oh gosh... I hope that mutt doesn’t get in my wa-- OF course he did!)
She paused as a huge golden retriever is right in front of bowl of the dogfood. Though, very close to Strawberry’s tuna bowl. We go into a close-up shot of her and she frowned.
Strawberry: (*Humph* I’m not eating my lunch beside that dog.)
Owner: What’s wrong Strawberry?
We go into a high-angle shot of a girl’s legs in a pink skirt and white sneakers, in Strawberry’s view.
Owner: Aww... Is little Strawberry bothered by the doggie again?
Strawberry: (*Smiles* Of course! At least she recognizes about that! I like how she reads me like a book.) *Meows*
Owner: Here. *Picks up the tuna bowl and sets it in front of Strawberry* There you go. *Giggles*
Cindy’s Mother: Cindy! *Over-the-shoulder shot of her facing down Cindy* How many times do I have to say to you? You shouldn’t be feeding her tuna. It’ll spoil her.
Cindy: But Mom!
Cindy’s Mother: *Takes the tuna away from Strawberry* You know if you keep on feeding her like that, she’ll sneak in and eat “our” food. And tuna is for us. It’s not for feeding a cat.
Strawberry: (Old bat! That was mine! Ohhhh... I’ll show her!) *Jumps on the counter*
Cindy’s Mother: Now you see? *Picks her up and drops her back on the floor* Now she doesn’t know what manners is.
Strawberry: (That’s not fair at all!)
Cindy: Oh alright. I’ll feed her with proper food. Sorry Strawberry.
Strawberry: (You too? *Whiney voice* It’s the same thing over and over again. All I get is water and catfood. It tastes like mush if you ask me. And I wanna go out a play outside. I’m so bored out of my mind!)
Cindy: I know what we can do Strawberry. *Kneels* Let’s go play in my room.
Strawberry: (Hooray! I hope I can play dress-up cause I want to look more cuter!)
So Strawberry and Cindy race upstairs to their room to play dress-up as we zoom-out of the house to go to a different location of the city. It’s nighttime and we go into a apartment and the suite number is 306. It’s a basement and loud music is echoing that door. We cut-to inside the suite and the heavy metal music got louder.
There’s beer bottles lying down on the carpet floor of the living room, and a drunk man is sitting in the couch watching TV in standard definition. The lazy man is laughing his butt off watching cartoons. Then we zoom-in over-the-shoulder of him revealing a black cat with some scars in him, Chocolate.
Chocolate: (He’s drunk again. How typical of Master Scott.)
Scott: Chocolate! You’re standing in front of the TV. Get the hell outta here!
Chocolate: (*Humph*) *Leaves the living room and walks away.*
We look around in his surroundings and not only the owner, but there’s a party going on in the suite as well which explains the loud music. The people are drinking, cigarettes are lit from a woman’s lips, and drugs are lying on the kitchen table. The kitten is use to these situations likely they happen every week of Friday nights. After the owner’s hard days of work, he spends his pay cheques in partying and drinking.
In a bedroom, he slips through a opened window, and decides to come back later when it calms down. He’s outside and we go into a wide-angle shot of a back alleyway. The music can still be heard from this angle still.
Chocolate: (I wonder what the others are up to? Strawberry, Vanilla, and Mint. I’m gonna come back in a few days as usual.) *Trots over towards the camera*
The black kitten leaves the scene and left his home likely this is normal for the kitten. We follow him in some wide-angle shots in the back alleyways of the city.
Stray cat: Yo. Chocolate. Where are ya heading?
Chocolate: *Turns around* Well, my owner is drunk again so I figured I’d take a walk.
Stray cat: A walk? Where are you heading?
Chocolate: No idea. For one thing, I’m not coming back to the apartment for a few days.
Stray cat: Really? That’s interesting. *Pauses* Hey, you wanna come with me and catch some rats? They’re crawling everywhere in the dumpsters!
Chocolate: *Chuckles* I’d love to, but not this time.
Stray cat: Aww too bad. But you wanna hear a creepy story before you head out?
Chocolate: Hmm... *Mutters* Sure, what is it? But make it quick.
Stray cat: Sure thing. This is a strange myth that I heard. Have you heard of cats that can turn into monsters? Apparently, when a spell is casted on a cat, it has the ability to morph into a monster with wide-spread wings. Once a cat is turns into a beast, they can live longer than a human! They also have the ability to eat people, and as much fish as they wanted. I know that doesn’t make any sense, but I’ve heard such rumors.
Chocolate: A cat that is casted on a spell, can turn into a monster? That sounds interesting.
Stray cat: Imagine if it were true. You can have all the rats you wanted. *Licked lips*
Chocolate: That’s true. But it’s only a story. There’s no way it’s real. Where did you learn something like this?
Stray cat: I think I’ve only heard it recently. I’ve been hearing it through a window while a human is looking at it on the internet.
Chocolate: I see...
Stray cat: Giant cats with wings...
Chocolate: How long was the myth been told?
Stray cat: I don’t know.
Chocolate: Anyway, I’d better get going. *Turns his back*
Stray cat: Wait a minute.
Chocolate: *Turns around* What is it?
Stray cat: Do you know the owner of Vanilla?
Chocolate: No.
Stray cat: Are you sure?
Chocolate: Yes.
Stray cat: Hmm...
Chocolate: What are you getting at?
Suddenly, we hear the sound of *barking* in the background scene, and the two cats turned their heads around fast. Two large black dogs appeared likely it was out of nowhere and they started to charging towards the cats.
Stray cat: Aw crap! Dogs! Run!!
The two cats retreated to the opposite direction of the camera and the dogs starts chasing them. However, Chocolate is slowing down cause he’s younger than the strange stray cat.
Stray cat: *Turns around* Hey kid! You better run faster than that!
Chocolate: I’m running as fast as I can!
-Stray cat: Hurry! They’re catching up to you! *Jumps up the crates*
-Chocolate: *As the stray cat jumps up the ladder of crates, he got confused* What the...?!
Stray cat: Up here!
But Chocolate had no choice, it was too late for him to jump up the crates since the dogs are very near him.
Stray cat: Oh no... Sorry kid, you’re on your own on this one.
As soon as the dogs are about to have their meal, the small kitten rolled towards a window of the side of a building to avoid getting eaten. The glass shattered as the kitten dodged and fell into a abandoned building. The small black kitten is covered in dust and thankfully he isn’t cut by the glass. Though the dogs looked out the window as he’s lying down the solid ground. They tried poking their noses in there but their large bodies couldn’t fit through.
The small kitten looks up seeing the dogs out the window and he started crawling out of sight of the dogs. He’s stuck and there’s nowhere to escape. He hides in the corner of the room.
Chocolate: (I’m stuck...)
In the next day, we go into a wide-angle shot of a tall building labeled AVALANCHE. We cut into the inside of the building, and we go into a wide-angle shot of it. The members of this corporation is small but independent to each other. We zoom-in towards a canal and we introduce another kitten and the eldest one in Vanilla’s family.
Mint: (Oh man. I’m bored. I hate nothing to do.)
New Reporter (Female): *Wide-angle shot of a high-def TV* “This morning, a fire is taken place in Dungate Dr at a apartment of Pinevalley building 223. Many homes are lost in this terrible event. *Zoom-out of TV* The Police are investigating the cause of the fire and it was believed it was an accident.
-Member#1: *Snoring with magazine on his face while TV is chanting*
-Member#2: *Walk-in living room where Member#1 is sleeping* “Yo!”
Member#1: *Snorted* “Huh?”
Member#2: Have you’ve watched the news? Serious stuff man.
The two looked at the TV watching the news. The member who was sleeping gave a surprised look on his face.
Member#2: Looks like we got another one that lost their homes.
Member#1: Yeah, not good at all. We should head over there and help those people.
Member#2: Alright. Better get my butt in gear then. *Sat up*
The AVALANCHE members got their gear and left the building to do their duty. Meanwhile, Mint is stuck on the canal all bored. Though, a young lady comes in and unlocks it.
Young Lady: *Kneels down towards Mint* It’s your lucky day. You’ll be playing with some new kids today. *Smiles*
Mint: (Oh great! Something to do for once! *Leaves the canal box*)
Young Lady: I’ll be right back with your catfood. *Leaves the room*
Mint looks around in his surroundings of the room. After a while of wondering around the room waiting for his team to give shelter for the poor...
-Voice: *Pssst*
-Mint: *Turns his head fast*
Then we cut to the stray cat from last night out the window. Mint tilts his head, and approaches to the stray cat.
Mint: Who’s there?
Stray cat: Umm... I’ve got some bad news for you. Are you Chocolate’s brother?
Mint: Yeah?
Stray cat: We were chased by a couple of dogs last night and I think... Well... He’s in a abandoned building trying to get out.
Mint: *!!* What?!
Stray cat: I just wanted to let you know.
-Mint: *Anger* Why didn’t you stay there and help him?!
-Stray cat: *Startled* W...well...
Mint: Show me the way, NOW!
Stray cat: O...okay.
Mint: If my little brother is hurt, I’m gonna kill you. *Jumps up the window*
Stray cat: This way.
So Mint followed the stray cat out of the building. Then the young lady arrives the room with catfood and water in hand.
Young lady: Mint. Breakfast is-- *Wide-angle shot of the room as it’s empty* ready......
Meanwhile, we cut back to Strawberry’s house while she’s playing with her owner. Cindy is laughing while the pink kitten is playfully biting her hand.
Strawberry: *?*
She sees two cats are running fast without slowing down. It’s Mint and that weird stray cat running the sidewalks. She *paused* and watched them ran. Strawberry, ran from Cindy all of a sudden.
Cindy: Strawberry? Strawberry!! Come back here!
Strawberry: (I’m sorry Cindy. Something is telling me to follow Mint. I’ll be right back, I promise.)
So we follow Strawberry leaving her owner as well. Mint turned his head around realizing his little sister is following him.
Mint: Strawberry! What are you doing?! Go home!
Strawberry: No way! I’m coming with you! Besides, something is telling me to follow you!
Mint: *Sighs*
Stray cat: It’s this way!
The kittens is still following the stray cat. They turned into the alleyway and running towards where Chocolate is from last night. We go into a over-the-shoulder shot of the kittens and we see the dogs still hogging the shattered window from last night. The three cats hide themselves and peeking through.
Stray cat: It’s there. That’s where Chocolate is. Through that window.
Mint: Great... They’re still there waiting.
Strawberry: What’s going on?
Mint: Strawberry. I suggest you go back home. This is way too dangerous.
Strawberry: I just overheard our brother is in there. Is that true? *Looks over at the stray cat*
Stray cat: *Sighs* It’s true.
Mint: What is your name anyway?
Stray cat: I don’t have one. I’m a stray cat. Anyway, you two are on your own. I’m not gonna be a part of this. Good luck on saving your brother.
Mint: *Shrugged* Just where do you think you’re going?
Stray cat: Hey. I don’t want to get chomped by those things. I’ve done my part.
Mint: Shut up. You’re helping us to save Chocolate rather you want to or not.
Strawberry: I hate to interrupt, but may I suggest that we rescue our brother.
Mint: Strawberry has a point. There’s no point in arguing over this. We need to find a way to distract those dogs. And I think I know who that could be... *Glares at stray cat*
Stray cat: *Looks at Mint and Strawberry staring at him* Oh come on really?
Mint: We’ll use this cat as bait and meanwhile, we’ll sneak into the window unnoticed. Strawberry, this is your last chance. Go home or follow us. Once you follow us, there’s no turning back.
Strawberry: I.... I’m a little scared... But I wanted to help you too. Besides, it’s been a long time since I haven’t seen you. Or Chocolate... I miss my family so much.
Mint: There’s only one missing of us.
Strawberry: Vanilla... If only he was here.
Mint: Yeah... He’s a good kitten. Something is special in that little guy.
Strawberry: *Nodded* I think so too.
Stray cat: ......
Mint: What is it?
Stray cat: Nothing... It’s nothing...
So moments later, the plan is set and ready to go. We go into a over-the-should shot on one of the dogs trying to dig for the black kitten. Then the two dogs heard *scratching noises* They turned their heads towards the source of the noise and it’s the stray cat.
Stray cat: Hey puppies. You want a delicious meal? It’s right here.
The two dogs grinned and licked their chops. Meanwhile, we focus on Mint and Strawberry sneaking behind the dogs as the plan is working perfectly. Then all of a sudden, Strawberry accidentally kicked a empty beer can, and it made a noise. The dogs immediately turned around and seeing them.
Stray cat: Uh-oh! *Runs off*
Mint: Dammit!! That coward! Strawberry! The window! Now!
The dogs charged towards the small pink kitten, and she ran quickly towards the window with Mint and barely making it in time. We don’t see the stray cat again after that. The two kittens fell to the abandoned building landing safely inside.
Strawberry: *Whew* That was close.
Mint: Are you crazy Strawberry?! You almost got yourself killed!
Strawberry: I... I’m sorry.
Mint: You scared me to death. We’re lucky the window was opened and there’s nothing I can do to help you.
Strawberry: But why are those dogs trying to eat us?
Mint: Who knows. They probably do eat cats and they’re abandoned in the streets. Anyway, let’s find Chocolate and get outta here.
So the two kittens proceed further in the building while the dogs are still *barking* at them. Meanwhile, we cut to Chocolate wondering around in the old building.
Chocolate: This place has been abandoned for years. Where the heck am I going anyway? *?*
We go into a wide-angle shot of a dusty hallway, as the small black kitten continues exploring his surroundings. The floors *creak* in each step-by-step from the kitten. We go into a close-up shot of the kitten looking around as he continues to go straight through the hallway. Then the hallway suddenly became misty likely this is all done in magic...
Chocolate: Huh?
The mist is circulating around the small kitten and he gave a confused look on his face.
Chocolate: Mist?!
Then the magic has stopped circulating around Chocolate. This confuses him and he looks around. He *glares* ahead of the hallway and he took a deep breath. He proceeds the hallway with caution as we follow him from behind. He approaches up the door at the end of the hallway, and slightly pushes it with his paw. The door *creaked* as it opened. He peeks inside.
We go into a wide-angle shot of the dusty room and we scroll the camera from left-to-right from the room. Not only the room is dusty, but we can see some mist blowing around the room like the sound of wind.
Chocolate: What the heck is this? *Enters the room*
The mist suddenly starts forming into a shape and it’s towering over the black kitten as he gave a *stunned look* on his face. The mist eventually forms itself in some sort of misty monster with glowing yellow eyes, and feathery wings standing tall over the small kitten.
Chocolate: *Froze in shock looking up at the beast*
Then Mint and Strawberry suddenly entered the room where Chocolate is just staring at the monster. Both kittens saw this as well giving their shocked looks as well.
Mint: *!!*
Strawberry: *Screams* A monster!!
The door is shut tight as the wind blew it. Mint and Strawberry turned around fast and the small pink kitten tried to open the door to escape.
Strawberry: *Whimpers* I can’t get the door open!
Mint: Chocolate! We need to get out of here!
But it seems to be no use. Chocolate seems to be in tranced with the beast staring up at it. The small black kitten approaches the monster closer and closer.
Mint: What are you doing?!
Strawberry: Chocolate! Get outta there!
The kitten didn’t listen as he approaches the monster closer and closer like he’s a puppet. Mint attempted to pull Chocolate’s tail with his mouth.
Mint: C’mon! Snap out of it idiot!
Strawberry: Chocolate!
The misty beast’s eyes started to glow brighter and it approached the tranced kitten closer and it started to *sniff* at him. Then suddenly Mint and Strawberry are tranced already, with Chocolate on their side. The seemingly non-threatening monster gently nuzzled from left-to-right in the picture, Strawberry, Mint, and Chocolate. Then after the nuzzle the beast made the kittens *sniffed* its mist up and causing the three kittens to *glow*
We cut to a vision that they’re having, when they seen Vanilla turned into a monster as well, and he smiled at the camera. Then he flew away leaving a feather behind the scene. After this vision, the kittens fell asleep on each other, and the beast vanished into thin-air.
(Hours later...)
Mint: *Moans and vision blurring* *Looks down and his little brother and sister are sleeping on the side of his belly* *Shakes them* Chocolate. Strawberry. Wake up.
Chocolate & Strawberry: *Moans*
Mint: We’re still in this building.
Chocolate: *Grunts* W-what happened?
Mint: No idea.
Chocolate: *Concerned look and stands up* I remember falling out of that window. That’s all I remember.
Mint: That’s all? Actually, I only remember that I was gonna save you.
Chocolate: You too?
Mint: Yes. But there’s something else. Why are we here?
Strawberry: *Moaning in sleep*
Mint: We should get outta here.
Chocolate: By the way, I didn’t need your help. I could’ve taken care of myself.
Mint: Hey, no need to give me the attitude.
Chocolate: I said I CAN take care of myself!! *Growls and eyes glow red* *Grunts*
Mint: Chocolate?
Chocolate: *Body glows*
Mint: Chocolate?! What’s wrong with you? Chocolate!!
Then we see the black kitten has grown his fangs and Mint bolted backwards with Strawberry. She woken up as well and watched this.
Strawberry: *Gasp*
We watch the kitten grow bigger and bigger until it seems the building is gonna collapse any second now. Before this happens, Mint suddenly comes in and paws his brother.
Mint: Chocolate! Calm down!
Chocolate: *?*
Then the morphing process has stopped thankfully and he turned back into his original size and form.
Chocolate: *Panting*
Strawberry: This can’t be for real...
Mint: *Pauses* We can’t stay here. We need to get outta here. All of us.
Strawberry: What do you mean?
Mint: If we stay here, we’ll be a threat to the humans.
Strawberry: But Cindy...
Mint: I’m sorry. I know that our owners had loved us but with these powers, we’ll only scare them. But Chocolate... *Turns his head over to him* He hasn’t had a very good owner after all.
Chocolate: I agree with Mint. *Panting* We have to get the hell outta here.
Strawberry: ........No!! I’m not leaving!
Mint: You may be confused, but you may be affected by this too. For one thing, we don’t remember how we got here, and Chocolate almost turned into some sort of... dragon... We might be dragons as well.
Chocolate: The story that I’ve been told by that street cat... Is it true after all?
Mint: Probably. We have to go or we’re caught. Strawberry, like it or not, you have to leave everything behind you.
Strawberry: *Sniffle* B-but... There must be a way. Cindy would understand.
-Mint: Stop it...
-Strawberry: But... But... She’ll love me. She won’t think of me as a monster. Honest! I don’t want to leave my family alone!
Mint: Strawberry... I understand that. Leaving my family behind is a hard thing too for me. But if we stay, think about it, we wouldn’t be able to know how to use these powers and how they work. If you turned into a monster Strawberry, what would the humans do? They’d capture you and who knows what horrible things they’ll do.
Strawberry: But... *Startled and sniffled*
Chocolate: Enough with the chit-chat. Let’s go already. If you’re gonna cry Strawberry, I’m gonna leave you behind.
Mint: Chocolate!
Strawberry: N...no... *Sniffle* He’s right... I... I’ll come with you guys. I have a family here with you two.
Mint: *Smiles* That’s right. Stay close to me sis and we’ll be fine.
Chocolate: Now we just need to find a way outta this place.
Mint: You’re right. *Senses* Wait! I know!
Chocolate: *Turns around* What?
Mint: Follow me.
So Mint leads the way and the other two followed him. There was a cracked wall and it leads right outside. Though it is nighttime now in the city as they slept through it.
Mint: There! See?
Chocolate: How did you know the way out is?
Mint: I don’t know. I just do...
Chocolate: That doesn’t make any sense Mint...
Strawberry: Ohh... I’m so hungry.
Mint: We’ll worry about food later. First, we need to get outta this town.
Strawberry: But that’s so far away... And this place is huge.
Chocolate: Let’s go already. We’re wasting too much time.
Mint: You’re right. Let’s head out of this town and don’t think about our owners. From now on, we’re on our own. Move out!
So the three kittens started trotting their way out and they’re running away from home. No goodbyes, and no regrets. Mint is leading the kittens cause he’s the oldest one and eventually, they left the city by climbing up a huge ledge. They turned around and glared at the city one more time.
Mint: We’re leaving the human world.
Chocolate: It’s for the best. It’ll be a better life out here then down there.
Mint: We’ll see. We need to survive though. We need to catch our own prey, and move as far away as we can.
Strawberry: But what if a human found out about us?
Mint: *Turns head towards Strawberry* Then we’ll just have to scare them away with our powers. *Trots away* Come on. Let’s go.
Strawberry: *Sighs and turns around to her home* Goodbye Cindy... Goodbye Mom... And Vanilla...
So the runaway kittens are leaving everything behind them and decide to live out in the wild. They’re moving as far away as they can so hopefully they will find a place where no human has gone before. But it seems each step they go, they’re somehow in a different world and a different place. A few days has passed since they’re traveling together and hunting down smaller food. The location is at the side of a summit.
Mint: Hey Chocolate? Have you figured out about that spell yet?
Chocolate: No...
Mint: Hmm...
Chocolate: It doesn’t make any sense. How could we forgot that we were in that room? And how did we end up there? It doesn’t add up.
Mint: Yeah... You’re right.
Strawberry: Where are we gonna go now?
Mint: I don’t know. I’m figuring that out.
Chocolate: Oh great... We don’t have a freaking clue where we’re going, we’re cats that has been cursed under a spell, and we’re lost because of our “leader” here.
Mint: Chocolate. Not now.
Chocolate: And I don’t want to be called by that “name!” Why are we here?! Why?!!! Where are we going?
Mint: Calm down.
Chocolate: *Body slightly glows* How do you calm down at a time like this?!
Strawberry: *Sobbing* Stop it! *Body slightly glows as well*
Mint: *Rubbing Strawberry and he glows a bit too* *Gasp*
The three kittens suddenly started morphing and they’re growing bigger and bigger now. We watch the small kittens turning into winged-dragons and they’re huge.
Chocolate’s description: Red glowing sharp-edged eyes with spikes on them, soft slender black fur around body, a ridged mouth like a beak, teeth on the lower jaw, long slender neck, blue plates that fold from the back, bat-like wings like any typical dragon, head has a point to the back, a round blue underbelly, a tail with two blue plates at the end, hind legs, and long claws that can stand on fours.
Strawberry’s description: She has ears like a cat, her whiskers are long, a snout like a fox, jagged teeth and a thick rasping tongue, violet cat-like eyes, a twitchy pink nose, large paws like a cat, a long bushy tail, wings like a bird, has hind legs like a cat, her body colour is pink soft fur, her underbelly is large, some black stripes on her back and wings, and a siamese-like on her. Mint’s description: He has antenna’s as ears, red compound eyes, large wings like a butterfly, a long snout like a wolf, toothless, white and black fur around his body, a proboscis as a tongue, two hind legs, his underbelly is soft like a wolf’s belly, and the ability to camouflage with his wings.
The three dragons looked at themselves with their stunned look on their faces as they realized that they turned into dragons. They both looked at each other and also trying to get use to their new bodies.
Chocolate: What the hell?
Strawberry: Mint was right... We are monsters...
Mint: Yeah... The story about cats turning into dragons is a true story. Now we don’t exist in the human world.
Chocolate: Unbelievable... How do we fly?
Strawberry: Like this? *Flapping her wings rapidly*
Mint: Hey not too fast. That won’t help.
Strawberry: *Stops* Sorry...
Mint: Now we need to work on our new abilities and that’s all there is to it.
Strawberry: Yes.
So the dragons practice their flight abilities until they eventually figured it out. Though they do morph back into their original selves as well. The kittens got better and better at it and they ate a lot of fish. They figured out how to capture food easily but they still couldn’t find any shelter. It might’ve been weeks since they’re flying together to find a home to stay.
Strawberry: I’m so tired...
Mint: We’ll make it.
Chocolate: There’s no time to delay. We have to move.
They continue to walk through the cold until they can hear a shore likely they’re right at the edge of the world. The three kittens trotted fast and they see the ocean and a crystalized cave...... The same place where he was when he first came here..... The three kittens entered right into the cave with caution and they found him...... It’s Vanilla and he turned around facing the camera with a smile on his face.
Vanilla: So you came here after all... *Smiles widely*
Others: Vanilla?!!
Vanilla: That’s right. *Nodded*
Strawberry: But how?
Vanilla: I’ll explain everything. That misty beast you saw was a spell itself. You don’t remember it because it was afraid. That was the soul of the monster that swallowed me all these months ago and I too... Have dragon powers. It was too old, so it ate me to pass-on the powers to me. My friends were wondering about my family and I cannot find an answer. So I prayed to the misty beast to find you. I’m so happy that my prayer had worked and found its way to you. *Wags tail*
Chocolate: Wait a minute? You planned this from the beginning just so that you can see us?
Vanilla: That’s correct. I understand that having a family is a wonderful thing. Especially your life with the humans. But... This is a better place. Trust me on that one. It’s filled with wonder than you can ever imagine. You’ll meet new people, new monsters that are very kind. And the amazing thing is, you’ll understand the human language. You’ll be able to talk to them.
Chocolate: What friends are you talking about?
Vanilla: I’d like to say, but I wanted to show you these people. You have the ability to morph yourself into a dragon just like me. You have a storage stomach to swallow your friends up and keeping them in a safe place.
Mint: A storage stomach?
Vanilla: It’s complicated to explain. But I will introduce you towards my friends starting now...
So we cut from there and these are the new characters my friends. Please welcome Chocolate, Strawberry, and Mint and I’m sure they’ll be comfortable in eating you. :3

DESCRIPTION: The Runaway Kittens. A short story about Vanilla's family and how they got their dragon powers. This adventure in the human world where they try to rescue Chocolate from a couple of hungry dogs and the three kittens are forced to runaway and meet Vanilla once again.
NOTES: This story is a script-style. Most stories are written like this and I find it very convenient for me. This takes place after Vanilla ran away from home and he has his powers to morph into a giant dragon. His brothers and sister are adopted by the humans after they grew old enough. This is their story.
SIDE-NOTES: This is an old story. All the descriptions of their dragon forms had changed. However, the story itself is canon. So please don't be confused about the descriptions of the kittens dragon form descriptions. Hope you enjoy.
We start this tale in a crystalized cave near the shorelines of the sea. The seagulls are cawing, the waves are splashing the beach, and it’s a sunny day outside. We zoom-in towards the cave and we see one simple-minded kitten with grey hair. He sits on his haunches watching his surroundings.
Vanilla: *Mutters* I’m so bored... There’s not much here, but at least it’s home.
The wind is blowing across the scene and his fur is blowing in the direction of the wind including his spiky hair.
Vanilla: I wonder what my family is up to... I haven’t seen them for so long. Perhaps... I’ll never see them again. Maybe it was a mistake leaving the human world. And yet, I’m happy here. I’ve got new friends to play with everyday, I went through countless hardships, and I’m building my life here. It makes me wonder what it’s like to have been adopted by a human. Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint. What are you up to now?
We zoom-out of the kitten with a overhead shot and we cut to somewhere a different place. We go into a sky-shot of a city with tall buildings, many vehicles are driving the road like ants from this view, and there’s many many humans that live here. Than we cut-to a low angle shot with many people walking across the streets, the sidewalks, and some chattering with each other.
Then we cut-to a house that has two floors and a basement in it. It’s painted white and the yarn is being mowed.
Lawnmower: *Motor winding*
We go into a low-angle shot of the grass is being mowed by the lawnmower. A typical male teen with shades on. Then we zoom-out towards the window inside the house. A pink-like kitten is looking out the window.
Strawberry: (*Sighs* He’s mowing the lawn again. That’s just typical and boooooring... I just wanted to go outside.)
Voice: Strawberry! It’s lunch time!
Strawberry: *Turns around* (Oh goody! I wonder what it is!) *Jumps down the window*
We follow her in a low-angle shot across the floor.
Strawberry: (Oh gosh... I hope that mutt doesn’t get in my wa-- OF course he did!)
She paused as a huge golden retriever is right in front of bowl of the dogfood. Though, very close to Strawberry’s tuna bowl. We go into a close-up shot of her and she frowned.
Strawberry: (*Humph* I’m not eating my lunch beside that dog.)
Owner: What’s wrong Strawberry?
We go into a high-angle shot of a girl’s legs in a pink skirt and white sneakers, in Strawberry’s view.
Owner: Aww... Is little Strawberry bothered by the doggie again?
Strawberry: (*Smiles* Of course! At least she recognizes about that! I like how she reads me like a book.) *Meows*
Owner: Here. *Picks up the tuna bowl and sets it in front of Strawberry* There you go. *Giggles*
Cindy’s Mother: Cindy! *Over-the-shoulder shot of her facing down Cindy* How many times do I have to say to you? You shouldn’t be feeding her tuna. It’ll spoil her.
Cindy: But Mom!
Cindy’s Mother: *Takes the tuna away from Strawberry* You know if you keep on feeding her like that, she’ll sneak in and eat “our” food. And tuna is for us. It’s not for feeding a cat.
Strawberry: (Old bat! That was mine! Ohhhh... I’ll show her!) *Jumps on the counter*
Cindy’s Mother: Now you see? *Picks her up and drops her back on the floor* Now she doesn’t know what manners is.
Strawberry: (That’s not fair at all!)
Cindy: Oh alright. I’ll feed her with proper food. Sorry Strawberry.
Strawberry: (You too? *Whiney voice* It’s the same thing over and over again. All I get is water and catfood. It tastes like mush if you ask me. And I wanna go out a play outside. I’m so bored out of my mind!)
Cindy: I know what we can do Strawberry. *Kneels* Let’s go play in my room.
Strawberry: (Hooray! I hope I can play dress-up cause I want to look more cuter!)
So Strawberry and Cindy race upstairs to their room to play dress-up as we zoom-out of the house to go to a different location of the city. It’s nighttime and we go into a apartment and the suite number is 306. It’s a basement and loud music is echoing that door. We cut-to inside the suite and the heavy metal music got louder.
There’s beer bottles lying down on the carpet floor of the living room, and a drunk man is sitting in the couch watching TV in standard definition. The lazy man is laughing his butt off watching cartoons. Then we zoom-in over-the-shoulder of him revealing a black cat with some scars in him, Chocolate.
Chocolate: (He’s drunk again. How typical of Master Scott.)
Scott: Chocolate! You’re standing in front of the TV. Get the hell outta here!
Chocolate: (*Humph*) *Leaves the living room and walks away.*
We look around in his surroundings and not only the owner, but there’s a party going on in the suite as well which explains the loud music. The people are drinking, cigarettes are lit from a woman’s lips, and drugs are lying on the kitchen table. The kitten is use to these situations likely they happen every week of Friday nights. After the owner’s hard days of work, he spends his pay cheques in partying and drinking.
In a bedroom, he slips through a opened window, and decides to come back later when it calms down. He’s outside and we go into a wide-angle shot of a back alleyway. The music can still be heard from this angle still.
Chocolate: (I wonder what the others are up to? Strawberry, Vanilla, and Mint. I’m gonna come back in a few days as usual.) *Trots over towards the camera*
The black kitten leaves the scene and left his home likely this is normal for the kitten. We follow him in some wide-angle shots in the back alleyways of the city.
Stray cat: Yo. Chocolate. Where are ya heading?
Chocolate: *Turns around* Well, my owner is drunk again so I figured I’d take a walk.
Stray cat: A walk? Where are you heading?
Chocolate: No idea. For one thing, I’m not coming back to the apartment for a few days.
Stray cat: Really? That’s interesting. *Pauses* Hey, you wanna come with me and catch some rats? They’re crawling everywhere in the dumpsters!
Chocolate: *Chuckles* I’d love to, but not this time.
Stray cat: Aww too bad. But you wanna hear a creepy story before you head out?
Chocolate: Hmm... *Mutters* Sure, what is it? But make it quick.
Stray cat: Sure thing. This is a strange myth that I heard. Have you heard of cats that can turn into monsters? Apparently, when a spell is casted on a cat, it has the ability to morph into a monster with wide-spread wings. Once a cat is turns into a beast, they can live longer than a human! They also have the ability to eat people, and as much fish as they wanted. I know that doesn’t make any sense, but I’ve heard such rumors.
Chocolate: A cat that is casted on a spell, can turn into a monster? That sounds interesting.
Stray cat: Imagine if it were true. You can have all the rats you wanted. *Licked lips*
Chocolate: That’s true. But it’s only a story. There’s no way it’s real. Where did you learn something like this?
Stray cat: I think I’ve only heard it recently. I’ve been hearing it through a window while a human is looking at it on the internet.
Chocolate: I see...
Stray cat: Giant cats with wings...
Chocolate: How long was the myth been told?
Stray cat: I don’t know.
Chocolate: Anyway, I’d better get going. *Turns his back*
Stray cat: Wait a minute.
Chocolate: *Turns around* What is it?
Stray cat: Do you know the owner of Vanilla?
Chocolate: No.
Stray cat: Are you sure?
Chocolate: Yes.
Stray cat: Hmm...
Chocolate: What are you getting at?
Suddenly, we hear the sound of *barking* in the background scene, and the two cats turned their heads around fast. Two large black dogs appeared likely it was out of nowhere and they started to charging towards the cats.
Stray cat: Aw crap! Dogs! Run!!
The two cats retreated to the opposite direction of the camera and the dogs starts chasing them. However, Chocolate is slowing down cause he’s younger than the strange stray cat.
Stray cat: *Turns around* Hey kid! You better run faster than that!
Chocolate: I’m running as fast as I can!
-Stray cat: Hurry! They’re catching up to you! *Jumps up the crates*
-Chocolate: *As the stray cat jumps up the ladder of crates, he got confused* What the...?!
Stray cat: Up here!
But Chocolate had no choice, it was too late for him to jump up the crates since the dogs are very near him.
Stray cat: Oh no... Sorry kid, you’re on your own on this one.
As soon as the dogs are about to have their meal, the small kitten rolled towards a window of the side of a building to avoid getting eaten. The glass shattered as the kitten dodged and fell into a abandoned building. The small black kitten is covered in dust and thankfully he isn’t cut by the glass. Though the dogs looked out the window as he’s lying down the solid ground. They tried poking their noses in there but their large bodies couldn’t fit through.
The small kitten looks up seeing the dogs out the window and he started crawling out of sight of the dogs. He’s stuck and there’s nowhere to escape. He hides in the corner of the room.
Chocolate: (I’m stuck...)
In the next day, we go into a wide-angle shot of a tall building labeled AVALANCHE. We cut into the inside of the building, and we go into a wide-angle shot of it. The members of this corporation is small but independent to each other. We zoom-in towards a canal and we introduce another kitten and the eldest one in Vanilla’s family.
Mint: (Oh man. I’m bored. I hate nothing to do.)
New Reporter (Female): *Wide-angle shot of a high-def TV* “This morning, a fire is taken place in Dungate Dr at a apartment of Pinevalley building 223. Many homes are lost in this terrible event. *Zoom-out of TV* The Police are investigating the cause of the fire and it was believed it was an accident.
-Member#1: *Snoring with magazine on his face while TV is chanting*
-Member#2: *Walk-in living room where Member#1 is sleeping* “Yo!”
Member#1: *Snorted* “Huh?”
Member#2: Have you’ve watched the news? Serious stuff man.
The two looked at the TV watching the news. The member who was sleeping gave a surprised look on his face.
Member#2: Looks like we got another one that lost their homes.
Member#1: Yeah, not good at all. We should head over there and help those people.
Member#2: Alright. Better get my butt in gear then. *Sat up*
The AVALANCHE members got their gear and left the building to do their duty. Meanwhile, Mint is stuck on the canal all bored. Though, a young lady comes in and unlocks it.
Young Lady: *Kneels down towards Mint* It’s your lucky day. You’ll be playing with some new kids today. *Smiles*
Mint: (Oh great! Something to do for once! *Leaves the canal box*)
Young Lady: I’ll be right back with your catfood. *Leaves the room*
Mint looks around in his surroundings of the room. After a while of wondering around the room waiting for his team to give shelter for the poor...
-Voice: *Pssst*
-Mint: *Turns his head fast*
Then we cut to the stray cat from last night out the window. Mint tilts his head, and approaches to the stray cat.
Mint: Who’s there?
Stray cat: Umm... I’ve got some bad news for you. Are you Chocolate’s brother?
Mint: Yeah?
Stray cat: We were chased by a couple of dogs last night and I think... Well... He’s in a abandoned building trying to get out.
Mint: *!!* What?!
Stray cat: I just wanted to let you know.
-Mint: *Anger* Why didn’t you stay there and help him?!
-Stray cat: *Startled* W...well...
Mint: Show me the way, NOW!
Stray cat: O...okay.
Mint: If my little brother is hurt, I’m gonna kill you. *Jumps up the window*
Stray cat: This way.
So Mint followed the stray cat out of the building. Then the young lady arrives the room with catfood and water in hand.
Young lady: Mint. Breakfast is-- *Wide-angle shot of the room as it’s empty* ready......
Meanwhile, we cut back to Strawberry’s house while she’s playing with her owner. Cindy is laughing while the pink kitten is playfully biting her hand.
Strawberry: *?*
She sees two cats are running fast without slowing down. It’s Mint and that weird stray cat running the sidewalks. She *paused* and watched them ran. Strawberry, ran from Cindy all of a sudden.
Cindy: Strawberry? Strawberry!! Come back here!
Strawberry: (I’m sorry Cindy. Something is telling me to follow Mint. I’ll be right back, I promise.)
So we follow Strawberry leaving her owner as well. Mint turned his head around realizing his little sister is following him.
Mint: Strawberry! What are you doing?! Go home!
Strawberry: No way! I’m coming with you! Besides, something is telling me to follow you!
Mint: *Sighs*
Stray cat: It’s this way!
The kittens is still following the stray cat. They turned into the alleyway and running towards where Chocolate is from last night. We go into a over-the-shoulder shot of the kittens and we see the dogs still hogging the shattered window from last night. The three cats hide themselves and peeking through.
Stray cat: It’s there. That’s where Chocolate is. Through that window.
Mint: Great... They’re still there waiting.
Strawberry: What’s going on?
Mint: Strawberry. I suggest you go back home. This is way too dangerous.
Strawberry: I just overheard our brother is in there. Is that true? *Looks over at the stray cat*
Stray cat: *Sighs* It’s true.
Mint: What is your name anyway?
Stray cat: I don’t have one. I’m a stray cat. Anyway, you two are on your own. I’m not gonna be a part of this. Good luck on saving your brother.
Mint: *Shrugged* Just where do you think you’re going?
Stray cat: Hey. I don’t want to get chomped by those things. I’ve done my part.
Mint: Shut up. You’re helping us to save Chocolate rather you want to or not.
Strawberry: I hate to interrupt, but may I suggest that we rescue our brother.
Mint: Strawberry has a point. There’s no point in arguing over this. We need to find a way to distract those dogs. And I think I know who that could be... *Glares at stray cat*
Stray cat: *Looks at Mint and Strawberry staring at him* Oh come on really?
Mint: We’ll use this cat as bait and meanwhile, we’ll sneak into the window unnoticed. Strawberry, this is your last chance. Go home or follow us. Once you follow us, there’s no turning back.
Strawberry: I.... I’m a little scared... But I wanted to help you too. Besides, it’s been a long time since I haven’t seen you. Or Chocolate... I miss my family so much.
Mint: There’s only one missing of us.
Strawberry: Vanilla... If only he was here.
Mint: Yeah... He’s a good kitten. Something is special in that little guy.
Strawberry: *Nodded* I think so too.
Stray cat: ......
Mint: What is it?
Stray cat: Nothing... It’s nothing...
So moments later, the plan is set and ready to go. We go into a over-the-should shot on one of the dogs trying to dig for the black kitten. Then the two dogs heard *scratching noises* They turned their heads towards the source of the noise and it’s the stray cat.
Stray cat: Hey puppies. You want a delicious meal? It’s right here.
The two dogs grinned and licked their chops. Meanwhile, we focus on Mint and Strawberry sneaking behind the dogs as the plan is working perfectly. Then all of a sudden, Strawberry accidentally kicked a empty beer can, and it made a noise. The dogs immediately turned around and seeing them.
Stray cat: Uh-oh! *Runs off*
Mint: Dammit!! That coward! Strawberry! The window! Now!
The dogs charged towards the small pink kitten, and she ran quickly towards the window with Mint and barely making it in time. We don’t see the stray cat again after that. The two kittens fell to the abandoned building landing safely inside.
Strawberry: *Whew* That was close.
Mint: Are you crazy Strawberry?! You almost got yourself killed!
Strawberry: I... I’m sorry.
Mint: You scared me to death. We’re lucky the window was opened and there’s nothing I can do to help you.
Strawberry: But why are those dogs trying to eat us?
Mint: Who knows. They probably do eat cats and they’re abandoned in the streets. Anyway, let’s find Chocolate and get outta here.
So the two kittens proceed further in the building while the dogs are still *barking* at them. Meanwhile, we cut to Chocolate wondering around in the old building.
Chocolate: This place has been abandoned for years. Where the heck am I going anyway? *?*
We go into a wide-angle shot of a dusty hallway, as the small black kitten continues exploring his surroundings. The floors *creak* in each step-by-step from the kitten. We go into a close-up shot of the kitten looking around as he continues to go straight through the hallway. Then the hallway suddenly became misty likely this is all done in magic...
Chocolate: Huh?
The mist is circulating around the small kitten and he gave a confused look on his face.
Chocolate: Mist?!
Then the magic has stopped circulating around Chocolate. This confuses him and he looks around. He *glares* ahead of the hallway and he took a deep breath. He proceeds the hallway with caution as we follow him from behind. He approaches up the door at the end of the hallway, and slightly pushes it with his paw. The door *creaked* as it opened. He peeks inside.
We go into a wide-angle shot of the dusty room and we scroll the camera from left-to-right from the room. Not only the room is dusty, but we can see some mist blowing around the room like the sound of wind.
Chocolate: What the heck is this? *Enters the room*
The mist suddenly starts forming into a shape and it’s towering over the black kitten as he gave a *stunned look* on his face. The mist eventually forms itself in some sort of misty monster with glowing yellow eyes, and feathery wings standing tall over the small kitten.
Chocolate: *Froze in shock looking up at the beast*
Then Mint and Strawberry suddenly entered the room where Chocolate is just staring at the monster. Both kittens saw this as well giving their shocked looks as well.
Mint: *!!*
Strawberry: *Screams* A monster!!
The door is shut tight as the wind blew it. Mint and Strawberry turned around fast and the small pink kitten tried to open the door to escape.
Strawberry: *Whimpers* I can’t get the door open!
Mint: Chocolate! We need to get out of here!
But it seems to be no use. Chocolate seems to be in tranced with the beast staring up at it. The small black kitten approaches the monster closer and closer.
Mint: What are you doing?!
Strawberry: Chocolate! Get outta there!
The kitten didn’t listen as he approaches the monster closer and closer like he’s a puppet. Mint attempted to pull Chocolate’s tail with his mouth.
Mint: C’mon! Snap out of it idiot!
Strawberry: Chocolate!
The misty beast’s eyes started to glow brighter and it approached the tranced kitten closer and it started to *sniff* at him. Then suddenly Mint and Strawberry are tranced already, with Chocolate on their side. The seemingly non-threatening monster gently nuzzled from left-to-right in the picture, Strawberry, Mint, and Chocolate. Then after the nuzzle the beast made the kittens *sniffed* its mist up and causing the three kittens to *glow*
We cut to a vision that they’re having, when they seen Vanilla turned into a monster as well, and he smiled at the camera. Then he flew away leaving a feather behind the scene. After this vision, the kittens fell asleep on each other, and the beast vanished into thin-air.
(Hours later...)
Mint: *Moans and vision blurring* *Looks down and his little brother and sister are sleeping on the side of his belly* *Shakes them* Chocolate. Strawberry. Wake up.
Chocolate & Strawberry: *Moans*
Mint: We’re still in this building.
Chocolate: *Grunts* W-what happened?
Mint: No idea.
Chocolate: *Concerned look and stands up* I remember falling out of that window. That’s all I remember.
Mint: That’s all? Actually, I only remember that I was gonna save you.
Chocolate: You too?
Mint: Yes. But there’s something else. Why are we here?
Strawberry: *Moaning in sleep*
Mint: We should get outta here.
Chocolate: By the way, I didn’t need your help. I could’ve taken care of myself.
Mint: Hey, no need to give me the attitude.
Chocolate: I said I CAN take care of myself!! *Growls and eyes glow red* *Grunts*
Mint: Chocolate?
Chocolate: *Body glows*
Mint: Chocolate?! What’s wrong with you? Chocolate!!
Then we see the black kitten has grown his fangs and Mint bolted backwards with Strawberry. She woken up as well and watched this.
Strawberry: *Gasp*
We watch the kitten grow bigger and bigger until it seems the building is gonna collapse any second now. Before this happens, Mint suddenly comes in and paws his brother.
Mint: Chocolate! Calm down!
Chocolate: *?*
Then the morphing process has stopped thankfully and he turned back into his original size and form.
Chocolate: *Panting*
Strawberry: This can’t be for real...
Mint: *Pauses* We can’t stay here. We need to get outta here. All of us.
Strawberry: What do you mean?
Mint: If we stay here, we’ll be a threat to the humans.
Strawberry: But Cindy...
Mint: I’m sorry. I know that our owners had loved us but with these powers, we’ll only scare them. But Chocolate... *Turns his head over to him* He hasn’t had a very good owner after all.
Chocolate: I agree with Mint. *Panting* We have to get the hell outta here.
Strawberry: ........No!! I’m not leaving!
Mint: You may be confused, but you may be affected by this too. For one thing, we don’t remember how we got here, and Chocolate almost turned into some sort of... dragon... We might be dragons as well.
Chocolate: The story that I’ve been told by that street cat... Is it true after all?
Mint: Probably. We have to go or we’re caught. Strawberry, like it or not, you have to leave everything behind you.
Strawberry: *Sniffle* B-but... There must be a way. Cindy would understand.
-Mint: Stop it...
-Strawberry: But... But... She’ll love me. She won’t think of me as a monster. Honest! I don’t want to leave my family alone!
Mint: Strawberry... I understand that. Leaving my family behind is a hard thing too for me. But if we stay, think about it, we wouldn’t be able to know how to use these powers and how they work. If you turned into a monster Strawberry, what would the humans do? They’d capture you and who knows what horrible things they’ll do.
Strawberry: But... *Startled and sniffled*
Chocolate: Enough with the chit-chat. Let’s go already. If you’re gonna cry Strawberry, I’m gonna leave you behind.
Mint: Chocolate!
Strawberry: N...no... *Sniffle* He’s right... I... I’ll come with you guys. I have a family here with you two.
Mint: *Smiles* That’s right. Stay close to me sis and we’ll be fine.
Chocolate: Now we just need to find a way outta this place.
Mint: You’re right. *Senses* Wait! I know!
Chocolate: *Turns around* What?
Mint: Follow me.
So Mint leads the way and the other two followed him. There was a cracked wall and it leads right outside. Though it is nighttime now in the city as they slept through it.
Mint: There! See?
Chocolate: How did you know the way out is?
Mint: I don’t know. I just do...
Chocolate: That doesn’t make any sense Mint...
Strawberry: Ohh... I’m so hungry.
Mint: We’ll worry about food later. First, we need to get outta this town.
Strawberry: But that’s so far away... And this place is huge.
Chocolate: Let’s go already. We’re wasting too much time.
Mint: You’re right. Let’s head out of this town and don’t think about our owners. From now on, we’re on our own. Move out!
So the three kittens started trotting their way out and they’re running away from home. No goodbyes, and no regrets. Mint is leading the kittens cause he’s the oldest one and eventually, they left the city by climbing up a huge ledge. They turned around and glared at the city one more time.
Mint: We’re leaving the human world.
Chocolate: It’s for the best. It’ll be a better life out here then down there.
Mint: We’ll see. We need to survive though. We need to catch our own prey, and move as far away as we can.
Strawberry: But what if a human found out about us?
Mint: *Turns head towards Strawberry* Then we’ll just have to scare them away with our powers. *Trots away* Come on. Let’s go.
Strawberry: *Sighs and turns around to her home* Goodbye Cindy... Goodbye Mom... And Vanilla...
So the runaway kittens are leaving everything behind them and decide to live out in the wild. They’re moving as far away as they can so hopefully they will find a place where no human has gone before. But it seems each step they go, they’re somehow in a different world and a different place. A few days has passed since they’re traveling together and hunting down smaller food. The location is at the side of a summit.
Mint: Hey Chocolate? Have you figured out about that spell yet?
Chocolate: No...
Mint: Hmm...
Chocolate: It doesn’t make any sense. How could we forgot that we were in that room? And how did we end up there? It doesn’t add up.
Mint: Yeah... You’re right.
Strawberry: Where are we gonna go now?
Mint: I don’t know. I’m figuring that out.
Chocolate: Oh great... We don’t have a freaking clue where we’re going, we’re cats that has been cursed under a spell, and we’re lost because of our “leader” here.
Mint: Chocolate. Not now.
Chocolate: And I don’t want to be called by that “name!” Why are we here?! Why?!!! Where are we going?
Mint: Calm down.
Chocolate: *Body slightly glows* How do you calm down at a time like this?!
Strawberry: *Sobbing* Stop it! *Body slightly glows as well*
Mint: *Rubbing Strawberry and he glows a bit too* *Gasp*
The three kittens suddenly started morphing and they’re growing bigger and bigger now. We watch the small kittens turning into winged-dragons and they’re huge.
Chocolate’s description: Red glowing sharp-edged eyes with spikes on them, soft slender black fur around body, a ridged mouth like a beak, teeth on the lower jaw, long slender neck, blue plates that fold from the back, bat-like wings like any typical dragon, head has a point to the back, a round blue underbelly, a tail with two blue plates at the end, hind legs, and long claws that can stand on fours.
Strawberry’s description: She has ears like a cat, her whiskers are long, a snout like a fox, jagged teeth and a thick rasping tongue, violet cat-like eyes, a twitchy pink nose, large paws like a cat, a long bushy tail, wings like a bird, has hind legs like a cat, her body colour is pink soft fur, her underbelly is large, some black stripes on her back and wings, and a siamese-like on her. Mostly she’s pink.
Mint’s description: He has antenna’s as ears, red compound eyes, large wings like a butterfly, a long snout like a wolf, toothless, white and black fur around his body, a proboscis as a tongue, two hind legs, his underbelly is soft like a wolf’s belly, and the ability to camouflage with his wings.
The three dragons looked at themselves with their stunned look on their faces as they realized that they turned into dragons. They both looked at each other and also trying to get use to their new bodies.
Chocolate: What the hell?
Strawberry: Mint was right... We are monsters...
Mint: Yeah... The story about cats turning into dragons is a true story. Now we don’t exist in the human world.
Chocolate: Unbelievable... How do we fly?
Strawberry: Like this? *Flapping her wings rapidly*
Mint: Hey not too fast. That won’t help.
Strawberry: *Stops* Sorry...
Mint: Now we need to work on our new abilities and that’s all there is to it.
Strawberry: Yes.
So the dragons practice their flight abilities until they eventually figured it out. Though they do morph back into their original selves as well. The kittens got better and better at it and they ate a lot of fish. They figured out how to capture food easily but they still couldn’t find any shelter. It might’ve been weeks since they’re flying together to find a home to stay.
Strawberry: I’m so tired...
Mint: We’ll make it.
Chocolate: There’s no time to delay. We have to move.
They continue to walk through the cold until they can hear a shore likely they’re right at the edge of the world. The three kittens trotted fast and they see the ocean and a crystalized cave...... The same place where he was when he first came here..... The three kittens entered right into the cave with caution and they found him...... It’s Vanilla and he turned around facing the camera with a smile on his face.
Vanilla: So you came here after all... *Smiles widely*
Others: Vanilla?!!
Vanilla: That’s right. *Nodded*
Strawberry: But how?
Vanilla: I’ll explain everything. That misty beast you saw was a spell itself. You don’t remember it because it was afraid. That was the soul of the monster that swallowed me all these months ago and I too... Have dragon powers. It was too old, so it ate me to pass-on the powers to me. My friends were wondering about my family and I cannot find an answer. So I prayed to the misty beast to find you. I’m so happy that my prayer had worked and found its way to you. *Wags tail*
Chocolate: Wait a minute? You planned this from the beginning just so that you can see us?
Vanilla: That’s correct. I understand that having a family is a wonderful thing. Especially your life with the humans. But... This is a better place. Trust me on that one. It’s filled with wonder than you can ever imagine. You’ll meet new people, new monsters that are very kind. And the amazing thing is, you’ll understand the human language. You’ll be able to talk to them.
Chocolate: What friends are you talking about?
Vanilla: I’d like to say, but I wanted to show you these people. You have the ability to morph yourself into a dragon just like me. You have a storage stomach to swallow your friends up and keeping them in a safe place.
Mint: A storage stomach?
Vanilla: It’s complicated to explain. But I will introduce you towards my friends starting now...
So we cut from there and these are the new characters my friends. Please welcome Chocolate, Strawberry, and Mint and I’m sure they’ll be comfortable in eating you. :3
