A lot better story-wise as opposed to your previous submission. It's moving along well and it's very personal which lends itself to being told in the first-person. I don't think you'll have too many problems fleshing out the rest of the plot.

However, you seem to have a few grammatical and mechanics issues. You have several run-on sentences and unnecessary commas throughout the story. This is something which is fixed just by self editing. Read your sentences out-loud, pausing every time a comma comes up. If the pause seems unnecessary, it probably is. Also, don't be shy with using the word "and" when you're listing things. It's perfectly okay to do so.
