It's already 20th of March where I live, sooo it's time.
I'm 23 now. Five years ago I imagined my life to be... Well... A little less alcoholic, a little more mentally stable and a little less goth x) I thought I'd be all adult and stuff... Nope, I'm not. I'm so not.
"Joy Division" shirt isn't random, hehehe. But I'm not Ian Curtis, I still have some things to do.

I don't know if this helps, but I'm almost 10 years older than you and I still don't know what being an adult is supposed to feel like. I suspect the only thing that changes is you get more things you've got to take care of and less time to do what you want.
I guess what I'm saying is to not worry about being an adult, it sneaks up on you when you're not looking. Just worry about being you.
Happy belated birthday. :)
Aly.

Thank you :3
I found out that I'm now adult enough to take care of my own pets! I've been thinking about getting a dog for about 3 years, and a few months ago I felt ready. Now I have a beautiful fuzzy son. That was my adult decision. A month after that I suddenly brought a very hungry and thin stray cat with torn ears home and named him after my favourite serial killer. That wasn't adult at all x) Fortunately, he turned out ex-domestic, he knows what litter box is for and is super affectionate, and most important! he's healthy. So he gained 500 gramms in 10 days and is feeling great. But I have no idea what I would've be doing if I wasn't so lucky and he turned out ill. We have 2 more cats and 2 dogs in the flat, only 1 of them is vaccinated.

You know what? Having fuzzy kids that look up to you to be responsible is probably the one thing I can identify as feeling like being an adult. I'm definitely Dad to our two dogs, right up to waking up in the middle of the night to check on them.
Interestingly, I've got zero interest in having real kids. Go figure.
A cat named after a serial killer sounds appropriate :D
