This is what I have to show so far for my Caribou suit.
It's a bit baggy, but it gives me full freedom of movement, and I do appreciate that, I'm ready to sacrifice a few wrinkles for that.
I know Caribous aren't grey, normally, but this body is meant to be able to be used with a goat head as well. Hence the confusing coloring.
I'm having a hard time with the head, I used more reference pictures sculpting it than designing it in the first place, so now it looks more like a Caribou but it looks less like my drawings. I'm still unsure whether I should keep it like that since it's more true to the creature but a bit less "cute" or whether I should scrap it all and start over with a bigger shorter nose to make it cuter but less accurate.
Decisions, decisions... :(

Currently I believe I am able to produce costumes that LOOK nice enough, but my lack of experience (this is only my 7th costume and only 2nd body suit... and 1st hoofed critter) means I cannot guaranty long time quality. I still have a lot to learn before I feel confident enough to take commissions for something that's worth 1000$...
I also lack the working space, right now.
But who knows what the future holds for me. :)

Yeah, it was a local lucky find! I only grabbed 2 yards, but then felt bad and went back for more but they were out. :( I did find another grey, though, solid this time, but it's not as gorgeous. That fur is a true pain in the butt, though, because the pile is going in every direction and I have to be extremely careful not to get confused and cut a piece the wrong way (like I did for my tail but it's not even noticeable)
